CelebrateMercy is a web-based semi-annual presentation about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that takes place on the internet. It was founded in February 2010. Within three weeks, it launched its first webcast, broadcasted to 5,000 viewers from 78 countries. Another webcast was conducted in August 2010 (Ramadan), gaining media coverage on CNN. It later held three other webcasts and now reaches an audience of 10,000 viewers in over 90 countries.
CelebrateMercy has become a global semi-annual event where individuals, families, and groups gather to view the webcasts. The webcast is interactive since viewers can chat together and even broadcast themselves via webcam to other viewers (see past webcam recordings at www.celebratemercy.com/webcam).
