Nunez portraits Aurora the best, genuine feeling. Khoreva is to young and technical. Zakarova perfect but I personally needs more genuine impersonation. So I do say that this performance from Nunez is the best of this examples. 👍

They're all so good, but I really think Zakharova in this role is simply perfect! she seems lierally floating around!!! Her variatoion is so effortless, it really seems she's doing something as natural and simple as walking in the street! Really amazing, although I also loved very much Maria's and Nunez' performances! I also adore in this variation Olesya Novikova ❤

I like Nunez’s interpretation the most, although Khoreva and Zakharova are both amazing as well. The one thing I dislike about Nunez’s performance is the choreography. I would love to see her dance the same choreography as the other two dancers. Thank you, DanceLine, for sharing these three beautiful dancers :)

I agree!!! I love the more traditional variation! I know it changes to suit the ballerina, but sometimes we in the audience have our favorite parts too, lol!

I love Nela in everything she does, but I’m not a big fan of Royal’s choreography for this variation. I think the original suits the music a lot better and is more dramatic. Maria was stunning, she really looked like a princess. Svetlana is a very technical dancer, with is not a bad thing, but i really loved Maria’s artistry. They were all amazing though! 🥰😍✨

@@balletktmc Just from top of my head, imo her facial expressions don’t match the character. Then, when I watch her I feel like she’s in a competition and I see her conveying “Look how I do this! And this! Are you watching? Look how I stretch here, and there, and plié! Oh, aren’t I just gorgeous”. Sometimes she comes off a little stiff and counting steps in her head instead of dancing the character. When I see her on stage I almost never see Aurora, Kitri, Odile or Odette. I see Marianela.

@@D.A.A.321 I do see what you mean; her control is so good that it does seem like she sometimes stretches it out even a little more to emphasize just how good it is- lol. this probably does work against her in don q - she’s so controlled that nothing is quite sharp enough (for my taste). And I do agree that sometimes her facial expressions are not quite right.
Having said that, I absolutely love her dancing- her technique is just so amazing that I even like to watch her do variations that typically I find boring in pretty much any other dancer. Thanks for your input

For me only Maria looks a princess as she is young and her expression might simpler but charming. The others are too mature to be a young princess and look trying too hard to be...pritty. They could be a gorgeoue queen, but not a princess.

In this video I give my preference to nunez.. She is always so musical, with précision and détails.. Then Khoreva has a great technique but not still a mature ballerina. Zakharova not my kind of ballerina,I don't get her emotions
