The opening of the song still give me chills. Uriah Heep was a huge part of my 15 year old self. I listened and sang to Demons and Wizards for hours. Writing out the lyrics, then my friends and I would discuss the meanings behind the songs. What we thought everything meant. Then Sweet Freedom was born! Ok.. I just frigging love this record. I have many stories to tell. But for now, I will listen for a bit 🙃

This is their best album for me by far - this song in particular. Got the LP when I was about 13 (1972ish)
