The director of the movie does not withhold the ability to sell the rights of the franchise, the game has a deal with Warner Bros on several franchises.
Since we know Frankenstein’s Monster is a planned character thanks to the teaser I think the first big expansion for FUNKO Fusion will be Universal Monsters with Frankenstein’s Monster, Count Dracula, Lady Frankenstein, the Wolfman and the Creature from the Black Lagoon, plus a Boris Karloff 1932 Mummy alternate costume for the 1999 Mummy.
Also calling that Bates Motel from Psycho will be a secret level (it’s a Universal IP) similar to how LEGO Dimensions had secret levels for Flintstones, Jetsons, Red Dwarf and more.
It feels very Lego Dimensions and I love it all!

The other location in that shot of purple portals is the village of Sandford from Hot Fuzz. It’s shown another few times throughout the trailer. The 2 head on the ground Martin Blower and Eve Draper after their nasty ‘accident’ in Hot Fuzz on the outskirts of the village. The shot where the policeman grows giant with the church in the back is Inspector Frank Butterman and this takes place either in Sandford itself or in the model village. The shot with the characters from Hot Fuzz in the garden shed could possibly come from Shaun of The Dead. And also the shot of Sgt Angel gearing up takes place in Sandford Police station.

This really looks amazing. I wonder in that scene where we see Freddy and Proto, maybe that is the set-up scene where Freddy accidentally becomes that evil looking version of himself which sets up the backstory of the game. I think we are going to see numerous pops and exclusives coming to the Funko shop when this game gets released. Great video

From the outline of the villain and the C2E2 Freddy model, it reminds me of Astroboy. It would be cool if Astroboy was main link connecting everything together.
I was one of men, who were first to see this trailer. I was excited to see, that they are releasing this masterpiece very soon.
I wished, that they will add all characters Funko ever produced (maybe except of old versions of figures and those variations of characters, who differ only in iconic pose or carrying some object (like variations of Stich from "Lilo and Stich" and Deadpool).

I think this will be really good. I always enjoyed games like Skylanders and Lego Dimensions. I'm glad they are tying in the physical and digital ones. Image if they did a NFT line and you get access to those digital charcters in the game too.

That is so awesome! Def gonna play it! Would be really cool if we could get achievements rewarding us with limited edition pops based on who gets the achievements first. Like first 1000 or even smaller depending on game attendance. Bet more would play to have a chance.
I’m so happy about this game! My favorite director of all time is Edgar Wright, and most of his movies are going to be in this game! Scott Pilgrim is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I’m so sad that I never got to get any of the FUNKO pops for it (I mean… i could… but I’m not paying 200 dollars). I really hope we get re-releases for the FUNKO pops in the game. I am so happy to see the hot fuzz FUNKO pop coming out! That’s gotta be a good sign right???

I was wondering why Scott pilgrim was in the mix but I remembered 1.funko did make a pop and soda line for it and 2. It’s the 20th anniversary of Scott pilgrim this year
It's also a Universal adaptation. And, the 20th anniversary would be 2030 since they're using the Universal version, not the original release of the 2004 release of the comics.

Interesting I wonder if Fast and Furious would be in the game. And it would be cool if the Nintendo switch version has Ambiios released alongside the game that can unlock special events or outfits but I highly doubt we would get Ambiios though. Still I am definitely going to preorder this if it has a digital version as I don't buy physical games since I can't get to the store being disabled.
