If that system was around in the 70’s we probably would have tried it since we had about 300 cattle on our dairy farm in S.E. Minnesota. Baling and stacking in the barn was a big operation. Accept you couldn’t use a Bobcat in the upper level hay storage in the old wooden barns. We built a large pole barn just for bringing loads of hay in with our pull type New Holland automatic bale wagon.
@@samkitzmiller4302 when I did find help, they would never come back a second time. The last help I hired was probably 4 years ago and I paid $20/hr. I thought that was pretty good pay. I always stacked on the wagon, so when I needed a break we stopped. They never had to stack in the barn, I just needed help to get it out of the field.
@@kennethheern4896 I have had some good kids over the years but they are harder to find these days and they want payed well I remember doing that all summer if the sun was shining

The best way to handle small square bales.
A lot of cost for what it does it cuts out the manpower but you can pay a lot of manpower for what that operation cost
Man power isn't cheap... Harder to find reliable hard working.
If you can find man power.
@@kennethheern4896 very true this my last year for the small squares because of man power
