- This episode features an early morning mission to Kuang Si Falls in Luang Prabang, Laos. We had a 430am wake up call and rode motorbikes to the waterfalls to get there by 630am before any of the tourists. It was a stunning morning ride in the mountains of Laos, with the sunrise illuminating the mountains covered with low moving clouds. We had the entire place to ourselves for almost 2 hours until any tourists got there, this was an incredible day trip and HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're going to Laos or South East Asia... add it to your travel bucket list!

The Kuang Si Falls, sometimes spelled Kuang Xi or known as Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a multi-- leveled waterfall about 45 minutes south of Luang Prabang in Laos, of South East Asia. These waterfalls are the perfect day trip for tourists in Luang Prabang wanting to swim, see beautiful scenery, and enjoy pristine clear and aqua waterfalls as far as you can see. The falls start with shallow pools atop a steep hillside, after flowing through a limestone-rich jungle, the waterfall empties into three gently cascading pools.
Behind The Lens in a mini- series that dives into the daily life of a landscape photographers life and what must be done 'for the shot.' It goes into what is being the pretty Instagram picture: the equipment, camera settings, struggles, hardships, and daily challenges.

Nice memories watching your vid :-) I was there last december and the waterfalls where not that impressive anymore (dry season) but still very nice. It's a good thing you had your drone because from the top you can't really see the fall, can you? I also climbed to the top using the left foot path and it was not so difficult to get there. Keep on traveling!
thanks so much! it is such a beautiful place, we went in august and the waterfalls were flowing a lot. You can see it from the top but the forest/ jungle is thick so only at certain points. And nice! we actually went up the right path, quite difficult and steep lol didn't know there was a left path

Everyone says it's 20k entrance per person and you guys paid 18k total including two bikes parked? Was it because you were so early?

thanks so much for watching! so we read 20k as well but maybe it was because we were so early. to be honest I think whoever is there just names a number lol. I highlyyy recommend renting a bike and going early, place gets packed and we had it all to ourselves for hours it was super worth ti. bike accidents, just be safe and stay in your comfort zone
