Honestly, you remind me so much of Yiruma with your arranging style. You're an incredible pianist and it feels as if Piano is a casual occupation for you yet you exude levels above what I personally experience. So glad to have met you since day one.
He reminds me of WillsBoard
i am awestruck
you’re a full-on composer
the second piece in particular made me feel emotions easily rivaling those of greats like chopin and rachmaninoff
It felt very human how he talked to us, and I really liked that. Been in a fan since first few videos and absolutely love it all! Keep going, you’ve got real talent!
same
thats great!!
>it felt very human.
is that the secret? is he not?
Guys we found the next Mozart
That music was so beautiful it felt like you were pouring your soul into every note, you are bound for greatness dude
yes but more virtuosic lmao
hope this one stays sanee
ehh, comparing him with mozart is kinda weird, their styles don't even sound similar lol
@@classicanime1197 lol hi
I totally agree
How to make sad piano music? Now this is my kind of content. I'm definitely going to watch this tomorrow!
Edit: Just watched it. These pieces were beautiful. I really enjoyed this video. I liked how you explained everything like you were actually teaching us. I hope that you will make more videos like this. I would love to see "How to make happy music" video. Looking forward to next Friday! 😁
Your original pieces are so amazing! I could listen to them for hours...
Would love your original music as formal recordings that I could purchase! Your first one here is more my style and hope to hear more in the near future.
Thank you for sharing your compositions, they're truly gorgeous. I'm stunned by the climax in your icicle piece.
There are so many causes to sadness but music like yours eats away at the nuances and just allows the listener to take in the emotion itself without dwelling on what led up to that sadness, and in the end that helps so much.
Brilliant. I loved the first composition. I hope you'll make a part 2, 3 etc for this melancholic brooding, and reveal more methods for extracting the emotions.
I think you are the next Rachmaninoff. You sound amazing!!
Beautiful pieces man you’re a talented composer
If you got time and want it too you should make this into a series! I am a self learner pianist for about 3 years. I would love to learn how to compose or even think more deeply about notes
It's so good. I really liked the last song. You're really good at making the piano sound like real things such as waves crashing on the beach. It's just incredible. Hope you keep making content. You inspire us.
Thank you for this and all of your posts - they are all a blessing and an encouragement. I look forward to each new one. Wishing you the best in all of your endeavors, personal and professional!
I really enjoy listening to your compositions! It's so inspiring!!
This is music! Finally I've found someone worth following and listening to. You will be huge one day, and I'm happy I found you now. Both pieces moved me to my core, you are simply fanastic!
Love your compositions and playing!
Beautiful compositions....
Love the imagery on the first piece.
The second piece has so much drama, and influence from various sources.
You're a wonderful musician...
its amazing expierence hearing someone like you talking about his true passion, i love it!
I love watching you play and all the feelings and energy you are transferring into sound
hey, I really love your videos, they're really helping me stay engaged and motivated in learning jazz/bass
also i've always loved classical but found it hard to get into your content is really helping, you're awesome, keep it up!
you're definitely a very gifted pianist! I loved all of your original pieces😊 when i'm sad I usually play "moonlight sonata" lmao
I enjoyed every single note. Beautiful music you arranged.
I loved winter so much. Please release it as a stand alone video. I want to listen to it over and over
I need this for my future compositions
can’t wait to see where you go, dude. incredible
This was really amazing, thank you so much for sharing
Please keep composing, this is amazing.
The culmination of the second piece was heart wrenching!
I love the first piece, so emotional, and very cleverly composed !
i beg to make a sythesia tutorial on the 2nd piece omg. YOU ARE AMAZINGG
Wow! That is beautiful!!
I'm glad I can be one of the few that can say subbed since 20k once u hit 1Mil. Honestly you'll probably hit it before 2024 at this rate :D
You inspire me! I love both of these pieces. They are so beautiful and reach the emotions, and they seem to tell stories and paint vivid imagery. Thank you! I hope someday to be able to compose music as well as you. (^^)
It, to me, sounds very lonely, but also optimistic. For some reason the scene in forest Gump with him sitting g alone on the park bench pops into my head and I've no idea why.... funny how music can be interpreted differently by different people. Beautiful piece ❤️ second one is gorgeous, and definitely my favorite of the 2.
Beautiful !
OMG. An ice cycle fell in my eye listening to this piece!!!! I am 😭
Amazing ! 💜
you have to release ur pieces on spotify! this is sooooo good!!!
the second peace was awesome i got way into it
Amazing talent 🎉
Bravo! Love your pieces! The second one was definitely inspired by Rachmaninoff's preludes. Beautiful done
Steinway sounds so good tho
I Love This Guy
Dude You are awesome
those were beautiful.
Wonderful
I can’t wait to see you get 1M subs in like a few months
You are very talented.
If you publish any of these in the future, please advertise on the channel. And i loved the explanation of the emotions involved! ❤
It was light outside for the first 40 seconds of the video) We all've been there - you start working, then got distracted and it's suddenly late evening already so gotta hurry up and finish everything in 30 minutes.
Good stuff anyway, thanks! For a self-taught pianist like me it a pleasure to hear some tips and advices on composing and music theory from a professional.
hey ive been a big fan of yours recently (binged through your videos lol). ive really wanted to play the piano since i was a kid but the circumstances werent really in my favor. however now i have finally decided that im going to join piano classes. i want to be able to play just as good as you do.
some questions:
for how long have you been playing the piano?
did you ever felt so frustrated that you wanted to quit playing the piano?
for how long do you practice on average?
how long did it take for you to get the hang of the basics?
anyways now im really determined to be able to play the piano and btw this video was really awesome.
4:58 this part of the piece remind me of "A river flows in you". Great piano piece too, I love the vibes of sad but hopeful that it gives me
I love listening to music, but don't know anything about the underlying theory. That is why I love the way you explain how you came to compose this.
Nice hall and piano ❤
Lucky is the one who gets to hold those beautiful hands and arms!
love the tierce de picardie!! Looks like you almost modulated to 8 sharps
Today I'm heart broken and now I'm going to make a Piece that will make me feel good
I’m getting withdrawal symptoms! Where are you Will? Really miss your videos. Come back soon.
i’m coming back this week! pinky promise :))
Your composition are very great for healing my ears and soul but one thing for sadness or happiness or actually any emotion is the environment and that car at the end drive by😂
gg on being able to play a steinway for this video. Beautiful performance also 👍
dude, you are a PRODIGY BOY at piano, ive been playing piano only for about a year and (unsuprisingly) cant compose a piece.
Our next big film composer, right there.
Sophisticated stuff. I thought I heard some echos of Rachmaninoff in the later portions of the second piece?
liked and subscribed!!!!!
Very nice. I am not an expert but the first one kind of reminds me of some Studio Ghibli´s Hisaishi pieces.
Ya
You are so fun omg 😂
Ok, my fav piece is definetly la campanellla!! But not my fav to play. It’s sooo hard😂
Dude you are insane! Wow, may I ask you sth: what are you majoring in? :) and how did you choose this path you are going.
Both were great!
You should give liebestraum no 3 a try! I think you will enjoy it very much
Why do you use abstract sentences for dynamic cues rather than actual dynamic markings? Is it because you only ever plan to play it yourself, or that you enjoy leaving it much more up to the interpretation?
Hi! I’m playing pathétique 1st Movement and 3rd Movement. Are you able to give an interpretation of it? Thank you. :D
I want to become a person just like you in the future
Beautiful pieces! Thank you for sharing your compositions with us.
Years? Took me 5 years to practice piano and, 7months to learn music theory. And for me my sounds very proffesional.
Hey will, what website do you use for writing sheet music? BTW, thank you so much for the great work you did over the months!
Dunno about Will, but I use Musescore, which is free and works perfectly well for me.
What software do you use on your tablet for sheet music?
I've never been so early to a video in my life
🙌🙌
2:24 when I heard this, I thought about song NF - Remember This, which starts with the same interval.
I loved the second piece especially, along with the comedy and the learning experience! If possible, could you get a proper mic for the piano? I think it would improve the video quality.
Yes, it would be nice to hear the songs properly recorded. That’s a bigger project but improving the mic setup alone would make a big difference
When depression hits...
Bro is like : me too :)
Music as poetry
5:10 WHY IS HE MOVING LIKE THAT
wow
What about Penderecki kind of music for piano? With some notes of Satie.
yes
These pieces should be in the anime
thank you for the tips and beautiful compositions of yours 👏👏👏
also what software do you use to compose or write ur sheet music on?
I use Sibelius :)
@@WillsKeyboardSink Thank youuu
also I am a fan of your chopin (hes my favorite composer, probably because i play piano too) you should consider trying to play chopin's 4th ballade in f minor. i love this just as much as his 1st ballade in g minor and i would love to see you perform the 4th ballade :)
also maybe some waltzes? they are so beautiful as well :)

It was light at the start, and then dark after the Major/Minor "lesson"
hey will could you please cover Merry Go Round of Life from Howls Moving Castle? id love to hear your interpretation of it
do you edit your videos by yourself?
Are you like a professional pianist/composer? Cause you sure sound like one
sounds like chopin music
What's that building? It looks so old, like the wood was hand-cut from a tree.
Where have you been? We miss you.
i’ll be back in
how long is this awesome steinway gonna last
I hope forever
Please release this somewhere like spotify or something
Haven't announced it yet (I'm uploading a video later this week!) but these are now on Spotify :) open.spotify.com/artist/0giISYC2m9nzSQAdJ2jm6P?si=be-0U5f2TruZPlMnIko7pw
"major is the happy key" tell that to Up.
Hell tell that to the minor4 which is only sad if you put it in a major key
Make a sad piano song with a major key
