The absolute loathing, seething contempt and abject hatred that Bill displayed towards that horrid little "toaster on wheels" was epic and by far the most enjoyable review of an EV I have ever experienced. Beautiful Eldorado. My mom owned an 84 Eldo in Hatteras Blue... with the awful HT4100. The motor failed and she ended up in a new polo green 92 Seville, another gorgeous car. Thanks for the upload 😊

Wonderful video Bill. I’ve been away from the channel for a few months due to getting COVID three times in a row and for my past sins ended up with Long COVID. Not nice. A lovely car matched wonderfully by your humour and highly knowledgeable coverage. I hope you enjoy your holiday in the mountains. From Gordon in Foxton New Zealand on a cold winters evening 2 Celsius.

Oh, did this bring back memories of my ‘85 black Eldorado. It was spec’d with a tan fabric interior and no vinyl roof. It also had the Touring Suspension. It was also about $23K out the door but I leased it at $325 a month. I was 34 living in Flushing, NY. I’m tall and ordered the reclining option for the driver’s seat but the dealer punched in the wrong code and it came on the passenger side. I was surely pissed but didn’t want to re-order the car. I ended up keeping it for 2 years and replaced it with a new ‘87 Mustang GT 5-speed with T-Tops, also in black.

There’s something authoritative about a car designed with a square ruler. Some Liberace level gaudiness would be nice to have in American car design language.

Thanks for the video Bill, I bought an 81 of this exact car in 88, minus Biarritz but I had moonroof, probably same time you had the Riv. It was strikingly beautiful car and made me feel like king behind the wheel despite the anemic 6-8-4 rewired engine!

Mid-80's, I didn't have my license yet, my father let me drive a rented Cadillac from LAX to Las Vegas. It was special because we didn't spend alot of time together, Dad was on the road alot, and for some reason, he trusted me with driving, which is odd since he was fairly strict and didn't trust me with alot of things. It's one of my favorite memories and the Classic 70's 80's Cadillac is very special to me!

Growing up as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s my Grandparents had Cadillac's. One of My Great-Uncles( my grandmother brother) had a Mercedes. My Parents had Mercury's and over the years i always got to see the Newest Lincolns. Going to see a early 90s Auto Show of the Newest BMW, Jags or Infiniti, Acura or Lexus. Although people talked about the Craftsmanship of the European Luxury Vehicles or the Quality of the Japanese Luxury Vehicles. Cadillac's to me were always the most Beautiful out all of them. Especially with their Paint Colors. My grandmother still has her '92 Sedan Deville that she bought preowned in '93. But she does have a Northstar Engine and that Car is still running to this Day. This Eldorado Generation has always been my favorite.
