I’m just want to say she inspired me and showed me how hijab is an empowerment. I went through her Instagram, Twitter and other videos and it’s sooo sad how much hate she gets. It’s even more tragic how they are all from the Muslim community. Well yeah her hijab might not be perfect, but at least she’s stepping out to empower the hijabis of the west. Here in America hijab is NOT accepted by the society, and she is creating a movement to change that. Honestly it’s hurts how judgmental the Muslim community is, I have Christians friends in their sororities and they are so supportive and caring for each other even when they sin they help each other get back to the right path, and then I have my Muslim community who literally labeled me as an adulteress for wearing tight leggings once. I just tell myself Islam is perfect but the Muslims are not to keep my iman afloat.
