If you want to use a spear as a knight, then you can try the brandish spear Knight. Brandish spear deals AoE physical damage for up to 10 nearby enemies.
In this video, we will check if this is a viable build for you.

Can i just maximum brandish spear skills instead of spear mastery first?
right now at lv 47 job 13 i distributed my skill point to riding 1, spear mastery 10 and pierce 2. I only can afk grinding on bigfoot spots with twice magnum break
If you are going pierce path since you are grinding Large size monsters, reduce spear mastery to around 5, then pump up your pierce skill for more damage.

No ~ but can definitely help in case you don't have the race,element,size damage increase cards. Also, helpful to those mobs that is not affected by race,element,size, like poison, holy, and neutral
what is the stats?
Is cardo even available at global? Tried to search in dictionary and it says you cant get it anywhere

Both are good - Brandish for AoE, Pierce for single target
This build ia better at grinding if tou can 1 shot the monster.

Around 50-60
playing on roo global, right now at level 77 can easily one shot marduk, what concerns me is that after level 80 mobs hp is 2.5-3x, unless lvl 80 gear give so much damage, I'm afraid brandish spear build is dead pass lvl 80. No other aoe skill left to use for grind and forced to single target grind.
You can force your damage to high DEF mobs by upgrading your gears with Ignore DEF

Haven't seen any patch notes. However, based on the equipment stats for knight, I think they are following KR server. Which should give these stats lv 90.
If you successfully block during [Parring], automatically cast the highest level of [Ryan Rapid] (CD 2.5s)
Refining effect (Refine 6: Chance of blocking physical damage with [Parring] + 10%)
Refining effect (10 refine rate: [Parring] chance of blocking magic damage +10%)
Refining effect (15 refine rate: [Ryan Rapid] skill damage +20%)

@@CoddiwompleDad OL and OH when i hit it's just white number and 1x it should be 3x and yellow number since it's a large right
It's a bug it does not show the 3 hits but the damage you see on large MVPs are already the total of your 3 hits

Low damage compared to Magic Spear for this build. Though you can use it for Spiral Pierce
Mahina pa cardo kpag pierce skill pa lang, lalakas cardo sa spiral pierce ng LK dahil sa weight damage formula nya, cardo pinaka mabigat kasi eh. Kaso chineck ko satin bat kaya walang cardo naka ban ata 😂

this build gets weaker as game progressed. good to play for levelling, then change preset to agi knight/spiral build later.
