There’s no need risking the lives of his 4 kids in the Darien gap forest. I remember one guy said he saw a GH woman with child being carried away by the river. US immigration is family-based so you could have traveled alone and later bring your 4 kids. This is a bad precedence that shouldn’t be encouraged at all. Good luck though.
