Probably one of the most accurate renditions of this song I have ever hear and I have been listening to this tune probably longer than this young man has been alive. The one thing I can truly respect is the fact that he played it with his fingers and NOT a pick which I personally feel is how the song should be played. Just the way Mark Knopfler did originally...kudos kid not an easy song to play by any stretch

Playing it note for note is something any dedicated musician can learn. BUT this sounds the best because the playing style is the same, not just the notes. Mark’s trademark picking style is what you have nailed, too! He feels the music and loves to play, just like you. That’s probably the biggest reason you can play it so well! I love this cover! Die hard Dire Straits fan, I have all their earlier albums... In original vinyl as well as cd! This is hands down my favourite song and riffs, I can quite easily close my eyes and "hear" the note progressions "flawlessly". Like some others commenting, I have listened to a veritable smorgasbord of guitar covers over the years. But this one..
