About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:
The Museum of Classic Chicago Television's primary mission is the
preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s
    and early 80s, primarily) recorded off of any and all Chicago TV channels;
footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved
digitally. Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we
preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs
with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical
purposes. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or
lend tapes to be converted to DVD, and to view more of the 4,500+ (and
counting) video clips available for viewing in our online archive, please

I grew up in Milwaukee and watched WFLD 32 a lot when it came through. Seeing this brought back memories of wishing I was on the show. I wonder how these kids are doing now.

Love the custom themes that played out in the WFLD 32 logos, especially the sanford and son logo version.

We had the same thing on WKBS 48 in Philadelphia. They also had Bob Newhart and All in the Family.

Good stuff. I used to watch this, and I was the same age as these kids back then. Thanks for the memories!

Jack always says when a joker doesn't pop up when needed on final spin, "Nope, it's all over." Bill Cullen at least would mention the categories that came up. Different styles, I guess.

David Gilbert I was thinking the exact same thing. It's actually why I clicked on the video - I just really needed to find out.

Allison Venezio From this site, I went to look up Soleil Moonfrye (Punky). I wanted to compare, but it really isn't her. They say everyone has a double...

Strange that advertisers would allow scratches to appear on their commercials seeing that they did have videotape technology back then.

It would shock you. I was born in 1971. Movies would air in poor condition from time to time.

My guess is that it was some sort of off day that they were shooting this (like a school vacation or something), the regular caller, (I think) Jay Stewart at the time, I'm sure had another commitment.
