This has to be the coolest way to do kerbside clean-up, it can be fun picking stuff up and launching it into the hopper manually, but bobcats are awesome machines and look damn fun to operate :P I bet you were loving being part of the action, up close and personal with it all and looking after the packer buttons ;) I enjoyed the mother load going in at 4:53 and seeing the wooden item getting broken up at 10:20, although most of it ended up out on the road haha The glass table top at 18:50, the amount of times I've been on clean-up and you carefully rest them onto the back edge, just for them to shatter before you can slide it into the hopper lol Damn they make a bloody mess too, but doesn't matter if the mess happens in the rear like this with the bobcat gently handling it! Sweet seeing the other bobcat and second Isuzu rear loader make an appearance, I noticed these verge collections tend to be done in pairs of truck and bobcat crews... at least I always seem to see a couple trucks working in close proximity.
Awesome video! Over here, they use a front loader with a carry can with 2 people and one person be outside dumping and one inside control the truck and the carry can.
That operator sure could learn how to run that piece of machinery a little bit better. He obviously doesn't have to worry about buying the tires or marking up the ground. If he had the skill you keep them moving the whole time and didn't have to lock em up

You know you kept pressing the button and the guy said when you press that button you’ve got to hold it down and you kept pressing it and the guy gave you a papper from the city of wannroo and saying you can touch it and you said alright thanks and you said somethings wrong with it afcores there was something wrong with it because you kept pressing it so what do you expect evrytime thay put garbage in the truck even thay put a little bit in the and you kept squashing the garbage that was in there even if thay put a little bit and you just kept pressing the button I mean you can it’s ok but I mean it’s stell necessary but what’s the point there’s a little bit of rubbish in the truck and you stell squash the rubbish that’s what happens when you keep pressing the button the squash which is the mouth of the truck that the rubbish will stop working and yeah then there’s something wrong with it so there’s your answer that I’ve just tolded you.

These methods will only cause damage to the garbage truck in the long run ( cylinders etc). Garbage trucks are made for garbage not bulk waste.
