Its kind of interesting how HG has been leaning into making operators that are very cycleable. like saileach, or gnosis. its almost as if they want to make more operators that are good in short bursts rather than making them all helidrops/long uptime with long downtime
well it makes sense, very rarely a 'long duration but huge cooldown' is better than a 'low duration low cooldown' skill, as one allows you to hit waves as they come & is likely to be ready when needed, while the other requires pre-planning and knowledge of the map/enemies not saying that high SP skills cant be good, many are very great, but it makes sense to focus on quick short bursts doesnt helps that we already have so many characters with great, high cd bursts, it gets harder and harder to compete, so makes sense for them to give something different
@@brunoslybruno Mostima is infamous for being one of if not the worst six star caster for this reason. Her za warudo and shwing shwing is very good but by the time you can use it again you are already halfway into wave 2 and either it doesn't need to be used or it's already too late
Probably to balance the overall roster out, we already have enough helidrop operators with the addition of nearl alter, and enough, good, long skill duration ones, but we didn't have all that many GOOD operators that were very "cycleable", they are also adding more and more operators with the ammo mechanic which I really like

Lee’s theme tho. Jazzy but still traditionally inspired? Damn, it’s like the song of my dreams. Who Is Real used to be my favorite event. Invitation to Wine takes that spot now, and it’s not even close. It took everything I loved about Who is Real and cranked it up to 11.
Does it have 2 Eyes Blind, Goth Fire Starter, a Palm Reader Hentai-san, and a Hikkikomori shut in artist tho. As for the story, it was pretty obvious that Dawn was Dusk's other persona, but we were all happy to play along w the charade. We were trapped in a painting with dum-dum NPCs and a wise hungery doggo after all. The atmosphere was perfect for going along w the games of an awkward grumpy pants.
Lings banner looks amazing. I mean, the fact that both 6 star operators featured are great ops definetly makes this a must pull. The fact ling and lee are both hot makes it even better.
All of these guys are very good for my squad, mainly because they have their own reasoning: Gnosis: More CC equals more GG with a DPS on the side Ling: Cob cannon summons with more tankier shit than the cob cannon themselves Lee: Husbando, and more stall + burst preparation, or become the burst himself Scottish cat: Unli range = best unit, don't @ me

But, when they sent out the free 10 roll voucher with the expiry date, I rolled and got Gnosis instead. Would have liked to get cute bear, but not going to go down that road because I will definitely be broke then. Given the two choices, would really like to own a limited operator vs. cute bear :)
Been saving for gnosis since he was announced. Im really looking forward to seeing how folks use him (plus as a husband enjoyer my savings tend to be pretty well guarded besides trying to get utility units like mulberry recently.... 50 pulls for 4 5s. The pain...) Im glad it seems like the rest of future 6s dont seem to be big boy meta breakers like chalter, thorns or surtr. I'd prefer they add more interesting aspect units than game breaking ones, esp bc it'll hopefully keep units from being blown out of the water by every new release and becoming another king's raid.... Love the designs in that game but oof their constant nerfing and buffing of units desperately trying to fix things is a mess.
i've been saving up for ling and lee since they've been announced and i'm at 160 pulls now. aiming for 300! hopefully i'll get gnosis in the process because i do really want him. quercus, aurora, and goldenglow all interest me too. great video about each operator's strengths, i know i saw a lot of people shit on ling and lee's utility when that's not the case.
New player here. Just started playing this week and am happy to say that I got the cool blue dragon lady from 20+ pulls. Will build her ASAP to see what's the fuss all about :D
Definitely going to pull for Lee and complete the detective agency. Might as well go for Ling while I'm at it as well, I enjoy the summoner characters (even if I'm not smart enough to use them) and it would also be nice to finally have a 6-star supporter. As far as Gnosis and Goldenglow go, eeeeeh... I'll probably make a token attempt (as in, go as far as the guaranteed), but I don't see them as must-haves... though I do love Goldenglow's name and design. Maybe I'll try harder for her if I still have the resources after Lee and Ling.
Just to say, Ling can solo just about any level and she is limited so throw everything into her if you are Newbie who don't have much operators or just make your life easier
uhh yes and no to that advice. while she can indeed solo hard pretty much like 80% of the stages in the game, and Duo about 90% of it... You need some pretty significant upfront investment to get to that point, namely a hefty Elite2 promotion and a whatnot costs with masteries needed to make avail of some of the strats needed to do the low op hijinks.... which i need remind you uses the currently ch9 exclusive mats as well aside from the usual T5 offenders. Plus she has also another problem going to her which is 3 summons on the field at once limit (which is in fact an elusive a limit, since fusing summons is a thing with her) and you also need the usual "summoners need brains to be used well" mentality... which is technically not wrong actually (just has a a lot of nuance to it as well... just much more accessible when it comes to Scene and Ling now). And finally, her insane dp costs for her summons, which still costs quite a bit even with the module's reduction. * * * * So in a way, she is just a pretty broken unit FOR an already built/already half-way built Doctor, and just like other summoners, is kinda a miss for New Doctors just starting out. Sure, you might as well pull and keep her/raise her soon enough, but really.... Collecting and Preparing an actual team of operators with way different usability and variety of kits is actually more productive in the short run and much more beneficial, than sinking in countless amounts of resource in a 6star nonetheless. Personally, i wouldn't recommend pulling solely just for her, unless waifu or aesthetic or just prepping for the future/collecting limited banner currencies (or just.... 'Hoarding mentality"). She only really serves to make an already powerful dokutah just utterly all powerful... kinda like what Aak s3 does.

@@hoticedtea7961 There's quite a few good ops for upcoming banner, but mostly it'll be very close to each other, so i suggest you to start savings and i speculate that en would have same banner rotation as cn. For the next 1,5 month, there'll be kazmiriez banners, you might want to skip both blemishine and fartooth, while both are good, you might want to stick with ambriel for global sniper range and other medic defenders. Next one would be nearl alter, this one you might want to try your luck, as every limited banner tradition, they'll give you more or less 12(iirc) free pulls as tickets and daily free pulls for limited banner time, 26 free pulls for the entire event date. Next one's kind of hard to skip, but i don't really know if it will also come to en, 4 ops, saga, surtr, phantom, and schwarz, they're good on any ocassions especially surtr who can trivialize contents. the last one would be what you're waiting for, mountain banner, nuff said, he's all around good. All in all, i can only say you might want to adapt the strategies depending on ops you have and will get in the future, best regards and have fun doc.
I suggest you pull for anyone pleasing to you. But if you want my suggestions; mountain, ling, the new year banner, and joint operation. Mountain can pretty much solo almost every lane. You can at least do a 10 pull on his banner if you want. Ling is broken as explained in the vid. Go all out on this banner, it's a limited broken unit. The new year banner gives you a random 6 star that you don't own on the First and only First time you get a 6 star. Best to pull until you get at least 1 six star. The Joint operation banner features Schwarz, Phantom, Surtrl, and Saga. All characters are really strong especially with mid to high investment. I suggest doing pulls until you get a 6 star or just do some pulls with some leftover orundum you have. Note: the new year banner and joint operation banners are not a must pull but it will help if you don't have the characters. !!Also this list is only my opinion, pull for whoever you like!! Hope this helps my friend!
I don't think I've ever been as hyped for an operator as I am for Ling, the only one who ever comes close is Mudrock. As someone with an M9 Magallan and M3 Mayer and Scene, low op clears are perfect ways to fill the dead periods, especially when my account wasn't built up enough to do max risk CC. And with both Ling and IS2 in the pipeline, I can't wait. After getting Saileach I'm now only saving for her, already got her M9 ready.
Anyone is worth pulling for if they're worth it to you personally. For me, I particularly want Justice Knight because Sniper Horse Robot and Black Night because the Slumberbeast is adorable. I don't need any other reasons, haha. Cheers and have fun everyone!
Isn't it worth mentioning that, at least from what I have heard repeated from people that have her, GG-chan's S1 is her best raw dps skill? Her other give her that expanded range and versatility but her S1 gives her more of that pop damage that the other skills lack, again, so I've heard.
Aiming for NTR Knight, Aurora and Ling. Hopefully I can get some of those really early. My account doesn't need any of them tbh, BUT THEY LOOK SO GOOD. Lee is also interesting but it depends on my luck
Lee the final piece. Tbh I wanted Aak and Hung instead of Nian, got Nian and had to wait a year to 6 star select Aak and longer to roll Hung. Same story with Waai Fu. I hope Lee won't evade me too.
I skipped nian banner and it was well worth it, Aak makes me feel like i'll pull him in another banner: Which messed up as it is... I got him four fucking times. [day one player btw.]

I feel weird pulling for Ling when I have a perfectly strong Magellan who can solo most maps that need trust farmed... I've never gotten any of the sisters yet though so it's a pretty strong banner.
Yeah, took care of my W deficiency on Nearlter banner. Now if I get to 300 on Spalter I'm going for Ros. Then depending on my luck on Ling previously, I might be missing just 1 Limited Op out of all, a Nian sibling. Hoping I can at least get a lucky Dusk spook. Not planning on sparking any more, after 300ing both Chalter and Nearlter. Whatever # I get Ling at will be it.
Does ling Dragons powercrept kaltsit's Mon3tr? I have heard people on internet say Ling dragon outclasses Mon3tr in every way possible and Nearl S3 is better for true Damage than Mon3tr S3.
No, cause Lings dragon is AOE/Arts and Mon3tr is phys/true. They're both insanely good, the tradeoff is Long dragon requiring 54 dp and Mon3tr being only 30 DP total
Everyone forgets that Kaltsit is still a medic and can still perform the same functional role of being a medic. Monst3r's deals true damage with S3 and has a stun on death, making him better for stalling certain bosses. Monst3r is also pseudo-limited to Kaltsit's range because it gets completely shredded outside of it. Ling's higher forms are extremely tanky with massive HP pools. They deal arts damage and can be placed anywhere on the map. Ling has to deals with DP issues more than Kaltsit but Ling has higher versatility because of the fact that her summons work well outside her range.
Good insights, over here the list is alt nearl (for that mechanic ignoring true damage), and Fiametta (I like artillery style snipers). Goldenglow is down to a maybe mostly because I distrust rng mechanics
I disagree with Ling being overpowered. She's the epitome of balance. Her 7-18 solo took 20+ people over 11 days of 7-8 hours daily of theorising to do, did I mention Patriot first phase had a fail rate of 95% because of the complex skill timing? If you throw this much work into Ling then yeah she can solo pretty much every stage. She's overpowered in a balanced way.
I pulled four 6*s on Ling and Lee's Banner, spending every bit my brand new account had / could earn. Even spent cash. Fartooth, Kaltsit, SilverAsh and Carnelian *Unhappy Gacha noises*
I watched this video months ago and decided to watch again today. While I am F2P, I do now own every character on this video. All pulled during their banner release. Gnosis was the pure luck. The rest took a bit of planning.
Rewatching this I suddenly realise all of these operators kind of... Came to me on their own and none of them is still raised...uuhhh...*proceeds to buy Mostima and dump all resources into her*

Fun fact: you can see Gnosis and black knight in the background of the Kjerag concept trailer of Arknights which was 2 years ago.
Worth mentioning is GG's S1, which has the best DPS of her kit and works best for the "make that one particular enemy die" role.

As someone with an M9 Magallan and M3 Mayer and Scene, low op clears are perfect ways to fill the dead periods, especially when my account wasn't built up enough to do max risk CC. And with both Ling and IS2 in the pipeline, I can't wait. After getting Saileach I'm now only saving for her, already got her M9 ready.
Anyone is worth pulling for if they're worth it to you personally. For me, I particularly want Justice Knight because Sniper Horse Robot and Black Night because the Slumberbeast is adorable. I don't need any other reasons, haha.

Isn't it worth mentioning that, at least from what I have heard repeated from people that have her, GG-chan's S1 is her best raw dps skill? Her other give her that expanded range and versatility but her S1 gives her more of that pop damage that the other skills lack, again, so I've heard.
Aiming for NTR Knight, Aurora and Ling. Hopefully I can get some of those really early. My account doesn't need any of them tbh, BUT THEY LOOK SO GOOD.

Lee the final piece. Tbh I wanted Aak and Hung instead of Nian, got Nian and had to wait a year to 6 star select Aak and longer to roll Hung. Same story with Waai Fu. I hope Lee won't evade me too.

I feel weird pulling for Ling when I have a perfectly strong Magellan who can solo most maps that need trust farmed... I've never gotten any of the sisters yet though so it's a pretty strong banner.
I have saved everything for genosis, skipet chen and nearl alter for him , I love his design and his theme song doesn't matter if he is good,

Does ling Dragons powercrept kaltsit's Mon3tr? I have heard people on internet say Ling dragon outclasses Mon3tr in every way possible and Nearl S3 is better for true Damage than Mon3tr S3.
No, cause Lings dragon is AOE/Arts and Mon3tr is phys/true.
They're both insanely good, the tradeoff is Long dragon requiring 54 dp and Mon3tr being only 30 DP total
Nalter doesnt power creep anyone
Everyone forgets that Kaltsit is still a medic and can still perform the same functional role of being a medic. Monst3r's deals true damage with S3 and has a stun on death, making him better for stalling certain bosses. Monst3r is also pseudo-limited to Kaltsit's range because it gets completely shredded outside of it.
Ling's higher forms are extremely tanky with massive HP pools. They deal arts damage and can be placed anywhere on the map. Ling has to deals with DP issues more than Kaltsit but Ling has higher versatility because of the fact that her summons work well outside her range.
from what I know, Ling is suitable when dealing with multiple enemies while Kaltsit can defeat tanky enemy.

Good insights, over here the list is alt nearl (for that mechanic ignoring true damage), and Fiametta (I like artillery style snipers). Goldenglow is down to a maybe mostly because I distrust rng mechanics

I disagree with Ling being overpowered. She's the epitome of balance. Her 7-18 solo took 20+ people over 11 days of 7-8 hours daily of theorising to do, did I mention Patriot first phase had a fail rate of 95% because of the complex skill timing?
If you throw this much work into Ling then yeah she can solo pretty much every stage. She's overpowered in a balanced way.
