    Is this for fall 2022 application process? Should I give my gmat by dec? Also if I’m applying for masters in management information system can I get funding with gmat score?

    • @Wizako
      @Wizako  Před 3 lety

      Hi,
      Yes, this is for the Fall 2022 intake.
      Depending on which schools you're applying to, it's okay to take the GMAT around 15-20 days before the deadline.
      After you write the GMAT, you can focus on your applications, wait for the official score report to come, and finish 'em off before the deadline.
      MiM programs are a bit tricky to get funding for, since they're primarily offered by European universities.
      European universities don't generally give you a full waiver/scholarship.
      Some universities like LBS, HEC Paris, Essec, ESMT Berlin, etc. may give you a merit-based scholarship, based off your GMAT Score.
      Would advise you to write to the unis you're interested in, to ask if they have any grants, or other sources of funding. In most cases, they'll help you out with something.
      Cheers and best wishes!

    Valuable information Sir. Do you have any preference between enhanced online and in-center GMAT? Since ESR is not available for enhanced online. Also, whether the same discussion applies to ISB and Asian B-schools?
    Thank you

    • @Wizako
      @Wizako  Před 3 lety

      Hello Arun,
      Many thanks for your feedback!
      The ESR is a very valuable tool to have to identify certain areas of improvement, if any.
      It may help you improve your GMAT Score by helping you focus on those specific areas.
      However, if an offline centre might prove risky or potentially dangerous to go to, due to COVID concerns, would advise you to take the online GMAT.
      If you've been vaccinated, and are confident of the safety protocols followed at the centre, the offline GMAT is great.
      For ISB and Asian B-Schools, though the deadlines are slightly different, the philosophy, and rationale remain the same.
      Round 2 is still the last one to apply in, to avail scholarships.
      Wish you the best for your GMAT Prep.

    Hi sir, I just started watching your video, which is of course very enriching. I am planning to pursue MBA from Top business school of USA but because of my profile I am not feeling confident about it. I am an engineer and working as a scientist at one of the organization of Govt of India. I have 9 year of experience in Nuclear Fusion related work and Annual income is around 24Lakh. I am getting all your information about GMAT and MBA from your videos. Can you please suggest whether MBA will be good for me? Thanks sir .

      @Wizako  Před 2 lety

      Hello Ashish,
      MBA from a US B-School can be very good for you, if you plan to settle in the US after your MBA. The average annual salary from US B-Schools is likely to be around $100k.
      It'd be a good ROI, and a good chance to move up in your career.
      Just be firm in your conviction of changing careers, and have a convincing story as to what you're going to pursue post-MBA.

    Hello sir ! Can I pursue MBA without work experience ??

    • @Wizako
      @Wizako  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Hrithik,
      MIM would be a better option without work experience.
      If you're keen on doing an MBA, it's better to apply for a Deferred MBA, where you secure an admit to a great university, work for a couple of years and then join.
      Best wishes!!

    Is there any other way of taking GMAT if I m not able to achieve my target score in the final attempt of online GMAT?

    • @Wizako
      @Wizako  Před 3 lety

      Hi Sharmistha,
      If you've already taken the online GMAT twice in a year, try and go for an offline GMAT, provided you've significantly improved on your prep, and are consistently getting your target score during your mocks.
      Remember, you can only take the GMAT 8 times total, in your lifetime.
      So, make sure the next one counts.
      Best wishes for your GMAT!
