- hello! today, as a pro exol, i will be reacting to stray kids covering exo songs and performances💖 i'll be watching seunming's love again cover, call me baby cover, love shot cover, growl...🥰
also a 4k fancam of hyunjin cause i couldn't resists HEHE🤡
in conclusion, THEY ARE EXOL APPROVED since they've hit every single right note and every dance step!! are we surprised?? nah,, but i'm really happy they pulled those songs off,, they're not easy cause ✨exo✨

@@SaraSans actually no wonder for old stays))) He was in charge of high notes since even pre-debut show till now. Hellevator was the song that time for example and he was singing half of it plus rapping. Main vocalists during Hellevator recording said that they can’t reach the notes, too high, and then Bangchan knowing Han well gave parts to him
That’s why Bangchan and all members call him Ace and cheat key, cause he is great in everything
During Kingdom by the way he shocked even big seniors like Btob and Changmin of Tvxq with his singing and vocal range. He sang I’ll be your man ,cover of Btob song, which is VERY VERY HARD to sing even for main vocalists ,but he sang it perfectly.
After Woojin left(main vocalist) Han was given all his parts, so imagine how much he sang esp during concerts .
And I am not even talking about his stage presence, like he is insaneee
So yeah you will discover more and more of him step by step 😌

You know the thing about Seungmin is that he just opened my eyes that someone's voice range could change by training a lot. He's very diligent. He has this diary where he write about his progress and some people actually asked if had any special class or something because he improved a lot. Like if you watch him in the survival show and then compare it to him singing now you can see how much he improves even in his high notes.
Yeah Han is usually the one to hit the high notes in Stray kids discography and he belts quite a lot. I'm pretty sure he can go the highest out of all the members. But Seungmin and Bang Chan can go quite high as well. After their main vocal left it was actually Han who got most of the high notes when they re-recorded their songs with 8 members.
SKZ high notes was almost exclusively given to Han. Seungmin said he was glad he can rely that burden to Han so he can focus more on other aspect.
But recently the high notes distributed among Han, Chan and Jeongin....
If you love high notes, Phobia by SKZ is a must listen.
Also Close by Han and Alien by Han where he outdo himself

I ult Seungmin and god I love him so so so much 😭 He is always working his a$$ off and has been working on his vocal abilities so much, taking extra vocal lessons for years, even more after the former main vocal left and he had to fullfill the role. I am so so proud of him lmao. Our main vocal ❤
Skz are known for having really difficult songs when it comes to high notes! Their predebut song Hellevator is in a female key and they ignored JYP when he told them to make it lower and then made their debut song EVEN HIGHER kinda to spite him! And the choreo for both is extremely difficult yet they always sing live

Their cover to growl and overdose is one of the reason I stand stray kids. Even though I'm not an ExoL but I like growl and overdose so much. It's amazing that they can combine them into one solid arrangement.

Also their songs "Secret secret" and "Sorry i love you" from Noeasy album.
These songs are on calmer side and show a lot of vocals.
Hyunjin has said that he really looks up to Kai. I would love to see them dance together. Yes EXO and StrayKids on the stage together I would probably need CPR. Lol
Seungmin is my ult bias since I watched the song Scars. Where he... Ehm... Sings the most and dances solo with his mic stand.

as a seungmin bias I’m recommending listening to his cover of IU’s My Sea. (It’s a duet with Lee Mujin), his Kingdom performance of Love Poem and his cover of Day6’s You Were Beautiful. His vocals are so amazing i could listen to him sing forever.

It sucks" and other very unpleasant and very sad things. as a Stay every time a group (juniors) covers a skz song we (stay) feels very happy and excited and we praise the covers they make of our boys. As some people pointed out, there is also a cover of Exo's Wolf by Mayfly (Stray Kids + ATEEZ + BTOB) during the Kingdom show. It is a dance cover, the song itself is prerecorded pre-recorded. Only Lee Know, Felix and I.N participate in it. Other SKZ members were taking part in other performances (Changbin, Han and Bang Chan in a rap performance, song is called "playing with colors" or "playing with paint") and Seungmin in a singing performance (song "love poem").
SKZ are known as a rap heavy group, but they are good at singing too, many don't expect that from them.
Chan likes showing us his abs and we are here for it :)

Hyunjin is 100% my bias but I absolutely love every member of StrayKids because they are individually and collectively so phenomenal! But since you're starting to love Seungmin I have to suggest this performance he did on Kingdom because it brought me to tears and gave me chills. Seungmin sang "Love Song" on Kingdom in a trio with a BTOB and ATEEZ member and it was out of this world! I also noticed you mentioned Han's high vocals...you have to check out "Han Jisung is the ACE of ACES" because Han is a seriously incredible artist that many don't pay enough attention to. StrayKids is just insanely amazing and I'm so excited to continue to watch your discovery journey. You are hilarious, a BEAUTIFUL singer and your reactions are very entertaining. Stray kids is also really good vocal wise but when you listen to their most popular song you might not hear it. They did a cover of I'll be your man by Btob when they were in kingdom it's really incredible.
Han is a really good vocalist, he's the one with the most high notes even more than Seungmin from what I've seen.
If you were wondering why you couldn't see Felix dancing in their Call me baby cover, it's because Felix had a back wound and couldb't dance for a while.
Oh yeah and for Chan showing his abs it's like pretty normal, he and Felix too often show their abs while dancing.
watching you discover skz is so fun, i was in this same place 6 months ago, so you're so relatable (my bias is lee know btw) and those covers, i love them so much even if i don't know much about exo. and i can't wait for you to discover them one by one. many people recommend you lots of songs to see, but for individual meeting, i recommend watching 1 kids room they did at the beginning of 2020 if i'm not wrong. there is one episode for every member and you have one member talk about himself and at the same time other members talk about him so it's nice dive into their characters ♥

Ya I don’t know about “technical.” Baekhyun said his was a “natural” voice, meaning he didn’t “create” it, he just had his technique from the get go (at first thought it was just a given that everyone had it)…same as me. I also sang in a symphony orchestra for many years after being invited to audition with that same “natural” voice. He mentioned the same thing I always struggle with in more “Pop”y stuff. All that vibrato that comes out at the end…it’s actually learning to shut it off is the trick. Very difficult for a non technically trained singer so I don’t split hairs. I’m always happy to accept however each one feels most comfortable performing it. Props to both of them 👏

It’s crazy SeungMin has indeed some Baek trait’s like face expressions and stuff. My favourite is how he also does the lil head shake sometimes at the end of his singing. Hope y’all know what I mean
I have to recomend it cause it´s so amazing. In Kingdom Legendary war, Ateez(San, Wooyoung, Seonghwa, Yeosang, Yunho), BTOB (Peniel) and Stray Kids (Lee Know, Felix, I.N) create a dance unit where they perform Wolf from Exo. You should check it out, i only knew about Stray kids but the other groups were amazing, and together they made a legendary performance.

Sara! I truly love all your SKZ videos so much. Since you love vocals, there’s a serious called The First Take. Stray kids have 3 videos- SLUMP, OH, and Scars. They have 1 shot to get through the song and that’s what they post. Anyway, it’s a great way to see their vocals :)

You should definitely react to Love Poem performance on Kingdom, it is sung by Seungmin and Eunkwang(BtoB) and Jong Ho(Ateez) it was one of the best performances on the show and the vocals are absolutely stunning. It is Mnet so ya know copyright, but you should at least listen to it

Hyunjin did a short dance cover of Mmmh by kai actually it was like a live idk if you can find the full one so you can also watch clips of it. It was really nice. He just did the main part tho cuz stays wanted him to do it so he learned it and did it
