SRT Eastern Line Thailand Bangkok ⇒ Kabin Buri รฟท ทางรถไฟสายตะวันออก หัวลำโพง⇒ กบินทร์บุรี

The journey aboard the State Railway of Thailand's local train No. 281 from Bangkok Hua Lamphong to Kabin Buri. The Eastern Line is the first line to diverge after leaving the Hua Lamphong terminal. From Phaya Thai to just beyond Lat Krabang the line is paralleled by the elevated, electrified and standard gauge Airport Rail Link. At Chacheongsao Junction the two arms of the Eastern Line diverge, the other route heading towards Ban Phlu Ta Luang via the famous resort town of Pattaya. The ultimate destination for SRT service on the Eastern Line is Aranyaprathet. A further 6 Kms beyond is the Cambodian Border to where it is hoped rail services will recommence after a long absence of nearly 60 years due in large part by the instability of the region beyond the border in recent history.
