A lot of these guys were NOT "heart throbs"...they were just actors or comedians! There's a HUGE difference in a "Heartthrob" and an actor or comedian! Trust me! 👍💖🤗
We were all beautiful when we were young! Men can get wrinkly and saggy and have gray hair, even get fat, and they are still considered good looking and bankable - not so for women - it's not fair!

I don't agree, I don't find guys in their 50s attractive, a lot of them look like old men. They are still women in their 50s who still look great.

No, actually even sadder than that is if you hold onto that mentality and mindset that getting old is the saddest thing as you get older. It's almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy of gloom and doom and self-defeating thinking. I've known many people who hold onto that thinking and they become self-destructive later on in life, thinking that there's nothing else to live for, and many times these are the people who just give up later in life.
What's really truly sad is going through life and not learning from your experiences in life and not growing from life's lessons, and not acquiring more knowledge. We are actually able to get through many things much easier than when we were younger, and we are definitely able to spot and identify BS much more easily - and we call it like it is.
Waiting for my favourite actor/musician to show up here and though it was filmed before he died, David McCallum didn't show up once. He was my "heartthrob" since my dad and I watched "A Night to Remember", "Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "The Greatest Story Ever Told", "The Great Escape", etc. and then "The Invisible Man", " Sapphire& Steel", and "NCIS". I finally got to meet him, Robert Vaughn, Billy Mumy, and 8 "Star Trek" actors over the years.Is it politics here that are making the decision here or what? Personally, I think David looked younger at 90 than many of the younger actors (including Robert Redford). But it's not just looks that attracted me to David; it was his kindness, warmth, talent, and knowledge about his characters that he studied before taking on a role, whether it be Harold Bride, Illya Kuryakin, Hamilton Cade, Steel, or Dr. Ducky Mallard. He also narrated stories for Caedmon records, performed plays, conducted music for 4 albums, played oboe and English horn, and even wrote a book.
As an 80 year old woman, I can tell you that old men are still attractive to me. I especially like the grizzled old bearded ones! Fun!
I agree. some of them just seem to have crumpled, (hard living does that to you) but some of the others, well...=)
Let's get real. Aging does not look good on anyone. No one escapes it.
Nobody escapes it, but many people still look great as they go through the aging process, and there's definitely some people who age much better. Sometimes genetics plays a role in that, but other times it's as simple as a good diet, healthy habits, avoiding stupid behavior like drugs, smoking and drinking too much.
Other factors like learning how to manage stress and as we get older, we learn not to sweat the small stuff and just let go of certain things, so that we don't carry and hold on to a bunch of stupid crap that doesn't matter.
Holding onto negativity can really cause a lot of issues with a person's appearance and have a toll on overall health. We all get much more real as we get older, many people don't try to escape it, they just accept it, even go so far as embracing it and keep moving on.

The heartthrobs from my era were Leif Garrett, Scott Baio, The Bay City Rollers, Lance Kerwin. Shaun Cassidy....most of these men were never heartthrobs. If they didnt have thousands of girls screaming over them, with their pics on their wall, not heartthrobs. With that said, you video is impressive showing then and now. I just have a different impression of heartthrob I suppose.
