thank you so so so much for this video!! ur a lifesaver
It’s very clear 😊
Thanks for the helpful video.
I might actually do this for some mock wedding looks!
Do it! You can even leave the lace off and do a classic plain tulle look!
Thank you so much you are the best🤗
Beautiful
Beautiful!! Could you use fabric glue for the lace pieces at the end?
Beautiful veil..can you do a tetorial on how to add rinstones to the edge of the veil
Thank You!
This video is a life saver my wedding is in March and I need a veil but im having trouble with the comb as most use decorative pieces and I'm already having a Tiara so would a decorative pieces be too much
Wow! Wonderful tutorial! Tfs! What kind of thread and needle did you use?
Such lovely work! 😍
And may I just say, how much I admire you keeping your workspace this organised? When I'm sewing, it's pandemonium, I tell you! I blame it on the fact that I sew in our guest room, which is also a storage room for our cleaning stuff, linens, craft supplies, tools, my spinning wheel plus extra spindles, and all the sewing stuff and it's only a 10 squaremeter room. But... - you're still my new role model. 🤗 I definitely need to raise my standards.
LOL! My room becomes a tornado just like everyone else’s! Sometimes the only clean part is the part I’m filming in lol. But I do meet with clients in there as well so stopping every day or even every few hours to tidy up goes a long way!
@@MadebyKarenM That's very reassuring. Glad I'm not alone in this. 😅 - Still my new role-model.
Very interesting
Thank you!
thenk you so much ... I did it
Thanks 😘😘😘🌹💖💖💖
Love the video and your hair! By chance where did you purchase your lace appliqués or do you happen to know a good brand or maker that has good ones? Thank you!
I usually just buy beaded lace by the yard and cut pieces from that. This one was shipped from China, I’ll place the link in the description box. But try searching Etsy with terms like “beaded lace”, “embroidered lace”, “corded lace” etc.
Pls can u mention all the tools needed? I'd love that ❤️
thank you so much! (P.S. you are stunning)
Very pretty. Now I need a friend to get married lol. Thanks for sharing.
Could I do this with embroidered tulle I wanting to make my own and im thinking it might be similar method
Where did you get the tulle for the veil? Is it a specific tulle?
Lovely!
Any tips for a veil that also drops in the front?
Thanks! Something I learned during this process was that the back and front piece can be separate. Look up “veil and blusher” on Google. The blusher is what goes over the front of the face. In this case my bride didn’t want a face covering so I was able to keep it simple. If you’re not doing lace you could always just two two layers on the one band comb
@@MadebyKarenM thank you
Hello...i'm getting married in 30 days and need a veil with rhinestones. Do you have a video on how to make it?
I have a continuous strip of lace that makes the perfect rounded edge on its own when laid flat.
Could I attach the lace and then cut the edge around it?
Yes! Whatever works and looks good I say go for it 😃
Nice pls where did you get the appliqué
Hi Mary, I ordered it from a shop on Etsy.
Do you gather at the straight edge or the curved edge?
Gather the straight edge.
What type of net is used for the veil please
Hi it’s tulle
Help! How do I make this into a long veil? It sounds like such a stupid question I’m sorry!
No stupid questions! Sorry I’m late! Follow the same process but along the center fold of tulle is where you will add the length. Email me at karenguinncustoms@yahoo.com if you need a visual.
Can this be done in two layer?
Yes it can! I did my most recent veil in 2 layers because my bride wanted a thicker look. If you are adding lace you may want to only sew to the top layer.
If you want a second layer just to throw over your face you may want a separate veil called a “blusher,” - same concept just sewn to a different comb from the veil that goes behind your head.
cómo se llama la tela para el velo
What if I’m using 5 yards of net please?
If you’re making a longer veil, you can follow the same shape
where can i buy tulle?
You can order a “tulle bolt” on Amazon or just go to Joann or sometimes Walmart and buy it by the yard
@@MadebyKarenM Thank you! this is great!
