Stealing computer won't remove the email, it'll still be there if you open your account in a different, only solution to this is hack the laptop and hack the email account and delete the mail
They went for the laptop to access the email, since usually people leave their email logged in or have the password saved. They were able to get to the laptop, access the email & then delete it. Stealing the laptop was a last resort to delay the mom from reading the email & giving them more time.
Yeah honestly, she's an older person. Just have her daughter input her own birthday or something as the password or call her "from Gmail" and ask for it
LOL-I ended a friendship after being on the receiving end of a “misdirected” text message. It’s realistic that Anne’s character would go to extreme lengths to prevent her mom from seeing the email, but, honestly, people, isn’t it just better to have frank conversations with people in your life when something is bothering you? Otherwise there’s: 1) no way to clear the air; and 2) no way to do a reality check on your own assumptions when you get dug into your own hostility and resentment.
I agree. But the social stigma or at least that's the mindset some people have, is that sometimes being honest hurts the others or the honest answer/feeling/opinion would be considered rude or disrespectful so people usually keep it to themselves. 1 very common example is telling your wife/mom that the food she cooks isn't nice. Yes we have to tell it in a nice and respectful way, but as we know they'll still get upset/angry/pissed off etc and basically think that we're just ungrateful pr*cks for saying such things. So for the greater good, people just tend to shut up. But overall, I still agree that we have to be as honest as possible about someone, whoever they might be, instead of pretending all the time to agree with them or what they say or do.
@@dallasyap3064 thank you for your thoughtful response. Regarding the situation you just described, I wonder about a few things. First of all, in this day and age, why is wife or mom doing ALL the cooking? Maybe somebody ought to offer to do it once in a while, and, if that person does it better, wife/mom might will probably notice, will be curious about how a better effect was achieved, and will learn something to improve her game. Moreover, if the alternate person really is a superior cook, that person would be better positioned to offer specific suggestions that don’t sound like a personal attack (e.g., “have you ever tried pre-heating the oil before baking the fish” or “when I make ratatouille, I salt each batch of vegetables separately and add one at a time to the mix to cook-how do you do it?” kind of thing). If that person DOESN’T do it better, well, tough luck-he/she can suck it up or lay out the money for take-out or hiring a cook. My sister married someone who had worked as a short-order cook before becoming an accountant and although she was a little put-off that he insisted on doing the cooking himself because he thought his was better, it did free her up to be the primary breadwinner and advance in her career (also as an accountant) once they started having children. Anyway, I do agree with you that there are some situations where brutal honesty isn’t necessary, but in those cases, respect the dignity of the potentially offended person by not ragging on them or making fun of them behind their back-things have a way of making their way back to the wrong ears.
@@vinista256 There are some men who do cook, but not as often as the ladies do (unless the men is the stay at home and women are the breadwinners like your sister). And like u said, if they do it nice, the ladies might want to learn how to do it and be better themselves too. Basically, sometimes we gotta be honest, but not terribly honest, but sometimes (depending on the situation and what is at stakes) whether should the truth be told (at least at that moment), if not, then we gotta zip it and definitely don't go around gossiping especially not your spouse behind their backs, bcoz if discovered would create a major issues in the marriage, and the trust and bond is in jeopardy of breaking apart. Apart from that, I believe a family should find time (once a while, once a month maybe) to have an honest chat about their likes and dislikes, shortfalls, what they would like the others to improve on etc, basically all the truth on the table with no disrespect, ill-feelings or any hard feelings. Honest communication is key.
