Hey thank you guys very much. Only wheelchair dealers in my area are absolute criminals. Picked up a used M3 that quit on me 36 hours later, complete dead. I want to thank you for this as a new how to calibrate a chair before I had forgotten. And I have a chair that has a 2.5M 89.5 R-net cable that's bad that doesn't allow me to tilt the seat past halfway without shutting down all power and to help alleviate that plugging charger in. But that led to seat tilt error 20 c3 whatever it is which is basically seat tilt error due to overload with charger plugged in. So if it hadn't been for calibrations even though I operated it while in the chair I would have been stuck. DUE TO PERMEABLE IDIOTIC DRIVER LOCKOUT WHEN THERE'S A SEAT ERROR. THAT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE GOTTEN TRAPPED IN A CHAIR DUE TO THE STUPID FEATURE THAT CANNOT BE DISABLED. I don't have that problem with invacare Wylie shy against it they can remove driver lockout and you won't have those scenarios that cease to exist somebody. Because there are Total Care that have to live in the chair. If you ask me they need to take a real hard look at Permobile being a DME because I only get about 2 weeks of use out of my chair before it breaks.
Can you guys try and change the camera angle?

@Marc's Mobility what if it doesn't flash at all? I can't get it to flash with any combination. The only thing that works is pressing 8 for a couple of seconds and 4 to use the memory function but my chair is still at a bad angle. Is not straight when I try to sit up "straight" is a bit tilted backwards. I cannot find a way to make it straight. Any advice?

I'm getting an error code 20c2 on my f5. It won't tilt or elevate. I tried recalibration and it stopped on the tilt switch and started flashing. All I could do was cut it off and back on. Do you have any idea what I need to do to fix it?
The code is saying there is no motor that can be detected. You would need to get that into a store where you purchased from and have them take a look at it or at least get it into a local store to have it looked at. Hope this points you in the right direction of finding a resolution to your issue
i got a permobil m3 with "facelift" but used. but only 80km so far. looks almost like new.
tonight i had a situation where i was just tilted back, far enough so the tilt button got red.
i then tried the seat elevation to lift it up, and after like 1 inch it blocked, both tilt and elevation button blinking red and display says ICS tilt error.
the wheelchair was locked, i could not change tilt or elevation anymore. nothing was reacting. i moved in the wheelchair to maybe get what was broken back to work. one button got green again, i tried to bring seat back in normal position but it locked directly again, both buttons flushing red and same ICS tilt error, i couldnt change tilt position or height or move the chair at all.
i turned it off completely and turned it on and it did work again, could change positions without problems and drive home. i also tried to recreate the situation, i could not provoke the error at home. my chair was on a uneven terrace when it happend initially.
but i also get sometimes weird behaviour of the ics buttons when changing seat position. like i lift it up it goes red, lift it further up it gets green and then orange.
or i am in a not extreme position all buttons green or slightly orange but another time it gets red. its wild.
now i start to think this could be related.
any idea whats wrong with this chair?

i did calibration now, not sure if it fixes the problem yet as i could not recreate it.
after recalibration i also got the ics master error, i guess this is normal, i just turned off and on again which like in the video fixes it.
Where can I find that device that you are using to calibrate the wheelchair and will this device work for the m1 model
If your M1 have any seat functions it would not work. If it does, you can find an ICS box on eBay. Hope this answers your question

Would this fix a seat lift error?
A seat error usually indicates the seat isn't in the correct position for driving (tilt being to far back, lift being too high, legs being out too far, etc.). When the seat is back into the correct position, the seat error goes away.
What does "recalibration" do exactly?
It resets the actuator movement limits. This helps if you are having issues with functions inhibiting the chair at weird points, and also helps the chair to recognize if any sizing adjustments were made to the chair.
