  • The CCM drum mower was bought in Johnson city, TN. The manufacturer is Turkey or Bulgaria. It's well designed, easy to maintain and parts are inexpensive.

Yep, you have a great mower. I have a SIP 165 drum mower, and it does a beautiful job in any conditions you can throw at it. The machine is tough as nails too.

No kiddding...... Me the same..... research, research, research.... Lightest weight, simple design, and the folks at CCM Machinery are cool and willing to help..... even though I'm 2500 miles away.... I especially was impressed how all the other retailers used them as an example and bad mouthed CCM..... Talking with the other retailers, they didn't hold a candle to CCM...... I ordered on a Friday and it was shipped Monday AM..... Good service.....

You'll love it. I looked for 3 years and researched many types before purchasing this. Easy to maintain, blades are reversible, easily replaced, and cost only $1.25 each. I've used the same blades for 4 years before having to replace. You have to make sure the drums are level with the ground because at 2500 rpms they'll dull quickly if they come in contact with the ground. No to mention what ever varmint is caught by it won't even know what hit it.

Don't know about the 3130 as I have a 3830, but mine handles it great

I notice you are using a Kubota, looking like a L3130 which is what I have. What size ccm drum mower are you using?

How does the 3130 handle the weight of the drum mower on hill sides?

My hay is thick to 48"right now, a drum mower without the belt driven, center mounted scatter wheel would add a step to hay making. Reese has one I saw online, does your unit have option for that? Without it, my hay won't dry unless I take another day of work to Ted the hay...

Nice video and how do you like the drum mower and how many ft is the drum mower and how many acers can u cut in a day

The mower is 5ft and can now wet or dry. I can mow about 10 acres in 4 hours, but I'm slow. I like to make sure i don't miss anything. Great mower and would recommend to anybody, minimal maintenance, belts are easy to replace, blades are super easy and very inexpensive. The blades can be turned over to increase life
