Running a separete EQ, does it really make a big difference, or is the Head unit EQ good enough?

Just some advice Dean your OBVIOUSLY super educated and experienced when it comes to car audio and installation but I watched you on HiFi Vegas show you tend to talk down to your audience or laugh at there questions witch is an EXCELLENT way to lose viewers ,people will quickly go elsewhere to find information. In other words don't be jerk off like EMF your not saving the world its car audio nothing more nothing less.👍🏽

For the average person system. Invest in a nice pioneer headunit with network mode. The money you're gonna spend on all the external equalizer and crossover and dsp. You can get in the radio for Less or around the same $. Less equipment to find places to mount and less wires and rca plugs to run. Less chances to introduce distortion into the system. Just a simple and Less complicated way of getting the same results. Everything you need in one piece of equipment to adjust

I swear by my mmats EQ. I have an actual volume knob and bass knob.... As well as others settings. I keep the headunit EQ set to flat.
