Hello, it depends on want you want: Do you want a really simple reliable system and a wide pickup 1770mm model 520 and up(for the new models and on the 125 is it only 1450mm wide) . Is horsepower not important because it pulls heavy, then you buy a Schuitemaker ( if you get an tractor with 30 hp more you don't feel any difference). The 125 does give a nice short cut with all knives +/- 39. and my experience is that the old models/rotor pull lighter then the new one. The new rotor crushes the grass before it comes in the loading box. Check the teeth on the rotor if they are all in place and present, and the thickness of the center teeth compared to the outside teeth. If you buy a Krone (mx or higher) or Pottinger (torro or higher) you can drive way faster because there is so much more space in the rotor and give's you also short cut. And those can handle stones better.Be aware of the weight of your new wagon for soil compaction because new wagons became really heavy.

Poland, i was in Your country for NH8340 gearbox parts ;) and i often look agrifoto.nl. i admire Your farm equipment, agregation and innowations. Switzerland farmers, Scandinavian are good to. I'd like to pick up straw with this trailer, I work alone, it will be good as i calculate only one disadvantage is quite small amount of knives in Schuitemaker, Pickup is the best, Krone has simple one without those... cranks?? but Schuitemaker direction and tandem wheels are fabulous

You will be amazed how short the schuitemaker cuts it, every 4 cm a knife(on the old models). You will be surprised that the crop will not pas the knife in the length but across/width. And dry straw won’t require much horse power. Around 2001 we bought a used 1992 schuitemaker 100 model, we used it a 12 years but never had trouble with the pickup. Only the chain to the pickup had some trouble (upper wheel with safety bolt) You might want to check the knife bank how much space the knife can move while it’s in position. (or replace bank and knives) Yes new Krone and Strautmann use the cam free pickup. For normal grass conditions it works well but not with short and wet gras.
