People don’t understand how hard of a role Sharpay is like wow, props to her. You have to play a confident person even when you are so nervous on stage make very exaggerated movements and embody her charismatic character.

When I first clicked on this video, I was expecting to see an awkward high school play but...2 hours later I am so amazed at all the hard work and effort put in by the cast and participants. So worth the watch, these kids deserve to go on Broadway not gonna lie.

I am a junior in my school and I’ve done nothing but play sports my entire life. Last year I decided to do the school musical, and I got the part of Troy in this same show. For months I lived the storyline of this musical, getting picked on by my friends for doing the musical. But when opening night came around, all of my buddies loved it and since then, I’ve had a love for performing I never knew was in me. This show will always have special place in my heart

This whole thing was incredible. Especially the Bop to the Top audition scene at 32:37. That part especially was a work of pure genius. I wonder if these kids realize that they made pure genius on that stage.
At my school we are doing hsm and I am one of them.(I wanted to be sharpay and I know all of her lines, choreography,and music; but who cares if they give it to a freshman who has no idea what a stage manager is that doesn’t hurt.) we only have 6 thespians and two of them don’t know the choreography all. Please save me.

Is this really a high school production? Like, my school is about to do this same production but we are going to do it a thousand times worse than they did. I mean this was better than the movie. The vocals were amazing and controlled even with all the movements. That is not something that is easy to do. This was just breathtaking. I'm a little jealous honestly.

I am playing Ms. Darbus in my school's production of this, so I was browsing different schools' performances. But this one I could honestly sit through and watch the entire thing. It was captivating. Every performer needs to be nervous to care but every single one brushed it off and fell into their character well. The vocal ranges were beyond impressive, and the choreo just blew my mind. Props to every single one of you no matter the role you played. This show would not have been what it was without everyone's dedication. Keep up the good work!

I was the Student Body President and part of Theatre for 7 years before graduated in 2017 from a small school in VA and i wished we did this . However, we did several smaller productions but they were bothing this extraordinary! Everyone from the crew and the people behind the curtians to the band and even the cast did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! Excellent Production everyone should be very proud of this performance. This is something you all will remember for years to come and maybe you guys might even get recognition from the og cast! Great job guys !

I don't know what to say. This is the first production of HSM on stage I found on CZcams, and I watched others after it, but always came back to this one. Mrs Darbus, OMG! Troy and Gabriella 😍 Chad and Zeke 'Oh it's for you'. 😂 Sharpay and Ryan are amazing. What an amazing show, well done to all the cast!
Spectacular, every single person delivered a killer performance. Troy and Gabriella had great vocals and chemistry, Sharpay and Ryan were wonderfully over the top, Chad was delightful and Taylor was amazing. Zeke was so delightful and Ms Darbis, wow what a spectacular cast. Let’s not forget the ensemble. A show just does not work without a great ensemble and they killed it. They orchestration was just amazing and the backstage crew were just on point. All of this combines to create an amazing performance. I am often not very impressed with movie musicals as they could’ve done each thing multiple times to get it right. However with stage productions there is so much preparation and they only get 1 shot. Absolutely killed it guys, well done 👍

everything about this production was so well done, the volume of their voices, the costumes, the music, the choreography, even the shooting of the show was on point and all the actors seemed very passionate of their roles, loved it

I got reccomend this after watching the series on Disney+ recently and this is AMAZING it looks extremely extremely professional for a public school and they must have had a high budget.
This was a real standing ovation worthy performance from all parts; I did not expect a recording of a high school play on CZcams to have such a profound effect on me, but pretty much everything in this production was out of this world, and I can only hope to at least rewatch this masterpiece for years to come
