Wonderful. As you get older, (for me in my 30s) the gym is your friend! I'm in my early 50's and pass for 40s. Perfect weight. Every day routine...walking, cardio. On weekends, same and a lot more gym machines. Thanks God I found the gym. Not sure if you have a planet fitness around. $20 per month. Worth that many times over. Moved on from a 690 to a Tenere 700 ! Not only is the gym, diet and riding keeping me young, so are your videos! Thanks! From CT, USA...(dem duh land)

@@TDubsKid Best to build your own fitness plan, do it in the a.m. first thing! Check your size on the T7 first, I'm 6' 3" and can flat foot no problem. Some shorter riders can only toe down and are concerned as the T7 is top heavy and once that weight is over a certain point it's down. Some have lowering links. I picked up a 'motowinch' to save the checks I write with my back. Also made and 'extractor' basically a small winch with an aluminum "earth screw" in case I was stuck solo riding.

That black Honda is a CRF230M with some knobbies. I have one of those, they were made only in 2009 and came stock as a supermoto with slick tires. I put some Shinko 700s on mine and ride it everywhere. Nice to see them getting love still.

I always get inspired to go riding the motorcycle while watching your videos. I recently moved from yucca valley California out in the desert to Florida not many great places to ride out here. But I have my camper van and the bike rack on the back so I will be traveling the United States with my Moto to see and ride new places. I always enjoy your videos you make them fun.

Funny you mention the beta trials, I took delivery of my new gasgas txt 280 pro last week , it's a monster , mine is uk road legal so I get some funny looks out on it in town , I was getting the beta because of the tank/seat unit you mentioned but with my tank being 2.6L plus the 1L handle bar tank and the 2L I keep in a back pack for the longer trails I went with the gasgas in the end because the suspension is amazing out the box so I save a couple grand not having to upgrade a beta , still early days it's only had two heat cycles and a tickover chug around town but I'm loving it . Definitely wouldn't recommend a 300 beta to anybody who hasn't ridden one before it's an animal, you only have to sneeze and it will buck you off in an instant, max torque from 1500 revs , I've got some big bikes and this gasgas scares me , I'm getting a slower action throttle and putting some washers on the spark plug to lower the compression until I'm used to it 😆 great vid buddy!
I would be afraid to be in bear country, black bear or grizzly bear, without a firearm capable of killing said bear. But as far as your trail ride footage, it is beautiful!
@@TDubsKid Seeing the isolated areas you visit; my 2 biggest fears would be human predators and bears. For either, I think a .45 ACP +P is excellent insurance.

Hey TDubsKid! Sure enjoy your channel. How would a TW fit for a 5'11" rider (200 lbs) with 32" inseam do you think? Painful or no issue for a full day of woods riding? Also, what's the probability of fitting a 5'6" 120 lb passenger on the back for some 1-2 hr woods riders? Cheers! Had a WR250R and it was not suitable for squeezing a missus on the back... at all. No room whatsoever.
I think it might be a bit tight but you could do it. might want wide pegs and raise the handle bars. won't go as fast with a passenger. also check out the xt250
I have a tw200 on order but after watching so many videos of guys dropping the bike for lack of power or washing out the front tire its very disturbing and makes me feel like i made a bad decision. mmmm

hate to be negative...but ATV riders are the worst out there. Low trail etiquette, won't give way. last season, we came upon a pack of them (forgot trail #, coming back from Sprucewood Inn towards main parking lot) We backed off a bit and waited for a place for them to pull over to let us by. After several spots they could have pulled over (they heard us and then saw us behind them) We finally started the engine rev, etc to let them know we'd like to get by. Finally, 4 of the 5 did. The guy in front...one of those: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!! types...tried to hammer down and stay ahead of us. After nearly pinballing off a few trees and nearly went over the side out of control, he finally relented and let us pass. Now, I know I am not as fast as I once was and younger/better riders will come up on me/us...and when we know they are overtaking, I/we pull off at first safe area. Makes for a better day for all.

we only have black bears, my .45 acp with .45 ACP +P 255gr. Flat Nose Hi-Tek Coated Hard Cast Hunting Ammo should do the trick
