How about releasing some new styles with non-SB leather, Dr. Sole style soles, and doubling down on leather and cork for materials. I quit buying RW heritage years ago.
Yeah... I just want them to start producing some of that quality old school stuff again. I mean, the current heritage line is great and all, but it could really be brought up a notch. So many great boots to pick from.

Thanks for the heads up! I just got a pair of Harvesters in Oxblood from eBay, at first wasn’t thrilled to be 2nd owner just not knowing exact condition. But now I feel proud to carry these boots on and give them a 2nd life, and they have tons of life left. Being from MN, love red wings and all of your content really helps me make purchasing decisions. Thank you!

I bought 12 eye vintage red setters with vibram lugs on eBay , I loved those boots , they fit perfectly , then two days later I had a fight with my brother , he found them and chopped through them with a spade!! I tried to keep wearing them to work but it was to depressing , so I left them on the job after a week digging a water logged trench, they were hold on they’re soul a several lbs of clay mud when I took them off . Rip those gorgeous boots
Thanks for the video CJ. It was great to see an update and a celebration of the campaign. I'm always curious how you get hides too. I never seem to be able to get hides at my Red Wing store, if I ask they simply look at me like I am crazy! I wonder if it is something exclusive to NYC? I always liked the Sky trooper but you almost never see them. I think my desire is largely in part of the fact I always saw old pictures of my grandfather in his Jump Boots. He specialized in explosives and demolition as a Sergeant back in WWII and traveled the world. Size 12 is close but I would need an 11.5, still awesome to see. Hopefully this might mean a future re-release somewhere down the road. If not I plan on buying myself a Munson last and having my own made from one of the local PNW manufacturers. Super comfy last and I don't mind the fact it is bulbous, I figured it'd make a great field, chore, and overall versatile for up in the woods and hills. Get as close to vintage as I can.

Here's hoping for the 120th or 125th anniversary! 🤞Thanks for appreciating a bit of stories about my grandfather, later in life he switched to White's Engineers for 40+ years working in an aluminum factory. My grandfather was a bit of a pyro and still loved and lit fireworks all the way into his mid 80's during Independence day. A family tradition started by his Dad, during the depression he would still buy a pallet of fireworks from the factory direct in South Dakota. He worked hard his whole life and was pulled out of school to work the family farm at the age of 12, he was 6 foot tall and 190lbs back in the 1930's. He volunteered to join the US Army and once honorably discharged, met my grandmother shortly there after. He finally retired after an accident at work took his middle finger on his right hand, he still farmed a one acre garden, worked part time building framing and stakes for local construction companies in his shop, and enjoyed life with friends and family. I remember him buying a go cart for me and probably him too, always loving to learn, and never being afraid of what brought him joy. In my teenage years we even went and played laser tag. He sort of got that second childhood hr never got to experience once he was retired, and truly never cared what others thought of him. Just his own opinion of himself is what mattered. It was great having him and my other grandparents growing up. I appreciate the fact you found him fascinating. Definitely someone bigger in actual life with a big booming voice. Admittedly most people liked him but a few didn't and there wasn't too much in-between. He lost his hearing from a landmine in World War II, so even with a hearing aid you had to speak up. He had his faults and was a big braggart, but at the same time never would you have found many as generous with his time and effort to family, neighbors, or those in need. Most of all he was an overall extremely content and happy man. When he finally passed away at 87 of bone cancer we had a huge wake where almost 400 people showed up that knew him and my grandmother and were still around. They were very center in the town and helped found and build a church that still stands today and were active in the community. So thank you for admiring my story. Hopefully you don't mind the additions I added just in case you were more curious about him.

Definitely seems like they’re on their last leg. Both the stores in my area closed but before then they were unusable. You couldn’t get anything done and purchases were severely limited.

I hope not but they've stopped stocking almost all of their Heritage boots except the Iron Ranger.

So, I would always slide my buckle over because the buckle would scratch the gas tank on my motorcycle (cafe racer). It is an old habit.
