On their web site it says that you can use an empty cartridge on one side. I do not own this, but that would help with the one week expiration.

better? not by a long shot. All they did was complicate the mechanism by 100% with break prone pieces, and who knows how much they charge for "pods". cool video, though.

You don't have to use both you just need both so it doesn't leak and coke zero is extremely unhealthy maybe more so then the normal. You're to picky
