I was in the Philippines while in the Navy. Ollongapo. Bars up and down both sides of the street. All had bands and all of them were great singers. They performed Beatles songs and sounded just like the Beatles.

Actually its somehow common for some places here in the Philippines, some people have a contest called doble kara (Im not quite sure) and theres quite a lot of singers that can sing both female and nale voice, but yeah Pomoy is one of the best ;)

I am proud to be a Filipino because of where I came from. I am proud of my color, my countryâs beaches, our talents, our tourism spots, our food. But I will never say that only Filipinos are the best. We are best for what we are but we can never be perfect. We have imperfections too. But we can certainly show the world that we can take them on with our own stuff, own skills and talents. That is why I am proud to be Pinoy because of those things.
