Since I became a big fan of Aydan in 2018, I can update you on his activities since The Voice 2018.
He's under the management of Yoyo Music. He has been since his participation in the Young Talent Time reboot in 2012 and Australia's Got Talent in 2013, before his appearances on The Voice twice. His debut single, "Something About You," was released during this time. Following The Voice 2018, he signed with Universal Music Australia and embarked on tours across Australia, including his hometown of Melbourne. His performances consisted of covers of contemporary hits, some older classics, and the same songs he performed on The Voice, accompanied by meet and greets with his fans. In December, he participated in carol singing events in Melbourne. He was selected to perform at Eurovision: Australia Decides 2019 on the Gold Coast on December 18th, 2018.
In 2019, he showcased his second single, "Dust," on the TV program Eurovision: Australia Decides. He hosted a fan event at Melbourne's Bistro Morgan, where he met fans, took photos and served doughnuts behind the counter for a day. Later, he performed at Melbourne's Moomba Festival during the Birdman Rally, where I saw him from across the lake. He continued with smaller performances in Melbourne, including appearances at shopping centres like CS Square in Caroline Springs, where I first met him. Following a small gig at CS Square, he travelled to Los Angeles to record and create new music before returning to Melbourne. He then played Harry in Fangirls, an Australian production depicting the experiences of One Direction fans in 2013, particularly Harry Styles enthusiasts. He was involved in Fangirls from September to November 2019 and also produced a CZcams video featuring an acoustic rendition of his first single, "Something About You," along with a vlog. He returned to Melbourne in November 2019 to perform at his former primary school fair before releasing new cover songs on CZcams. Additionally, he participated in carol singing at the Melbourne Docklands in December and shared a Christmas cover song on CZcams around the same time. Throughout the year, he connected with his fans through live Instagram chats.
In 2020, before the lockdown, he performed live at Memo Music Hall in Melbourne, covering popular songs like "8 Letters" by Why Don't We alongside his singles. After the performance, he quickly arranged a meet and greet for everyone who attended. Shortly after, he unveiled his third single, "Wide Awake," along with its inaugural music video. Subsequently, Melbourne, like the rest of the world, entered lockdown, prompting him to engage in regular themed Instagram live sessions, commencing with a One Direction-themed event and culminating in a Ruel-themed session. During this period, he collaborated with a friend, Mia, on a lockdown-themed CZcams cover, departing from his usual solo performances. In 2021, following the relaxation of Melbourne's lockdown restrictions, he returned to the stage in Fangirls, this time in his hometown, reprising his role as Harry and joining some new cast members. Subsequently, he launched a competition announcing a highly intimate show in Melbourne, encouraging fans to enter to win tickets to his performance. Surprisingly, I entered and won, along with 49 other fans.
Initially, I anticipated a typical live show experience. However, upon selection, we discovered we were part of a live music video shoot for the upcoming single "Grow Up" at a recording studio in Melbourne. They sought 50 fans following Aydan since the outset of his career to participate in the video. Regrettably, technical issues prevented the release of the live music video. However, on the day of filming, apart from the video shoot, we also recorded live covers of two popular songs-one recent and one older-actively involving the fans. After the shoot, before his other commitments, Aydan and the Yoyo music team held an impromptu meet and greet for his devoted fans.
Months later, after resolving technical glitches that led to the premature release of his single, "Grow Up," he officially launched the song along with a professional music video, alongside the live covers recorded during the filming day in Melbourne. Following this, he got cast in another musical, Jagged Little Pill, portraying a troubled schoolboy, Phoenix, and performed it in Sydney in December.
Following that, in 2022, he reprised his role in Jagged Little Pill, performing in Melbourne from January to March before concluding the run in Sydney from July to August. Additionally, he continued to release more cover songs on CZcams and engaged with fans through another live Instagram session promoting Jagged Little Pill. Later, he released another single titled 'Lost With You' with its music video filmed in 2021. Later, he hosted a Zoom concert for select fans in August. He released a series of CZcams covers featuring hit songs by various artists and began performing small gigs at Grazeland Melbourne. Moreover, he released another single titled "Everything to Me" and served as the opening act for artist Leah Kate in Melbourne in December. As of 2024, he is in Perth, Australia, starting from January 9th and plans to stay for three months. While there, he's been creating music, granting more creative freedom, and acting in an upcoming TV show called Invisible Boys, set to release in 2025 on the Australian streaming service Stan. In the current year, he has parted ways with Universal Music and is focusing on launching his new independent music projects.

I really like this kid. Besides having a great voice, he's a solid performer. On a personal note, he seems humble and kind. He was very gracious to the young lady who lost her battle with him. I hope he does well in life. 🙏
I have had the pleasure of meeting Aydan Calafiore several times in person and spending time with him after his gigs in Melbourne last year. I can confirm that he is not only incredibly attractive in real life, with a stunning smile, but he is also very down-to-earth, friendly, extremely humble, has a heart of gold, and is one of the sweetest guys I have met in a while. Therefore, his gracious nature towards his competitor and now friend, Madi K, is very genuine. As a fan and someone who considers him a friend, I must say that he is doing remarkably well. He has become way more confident when performing on stage and has improved significantly since he began performing in on-stage musicals. He is a triple threat, which is truly impressive.

I remember one-time last year when I had the opportunity to hang out with Aydan after one of his late-night gigs in Grazeland, Melbourne, Australia. He was such a down-to-earth and friendly guy. We had a few conversations, and I was really impressed by how relaxed and easygoing he was. It's always great when someone you admire turns out to be as awesome as you hoped.
And let's not forget about his looks! Aydan is looking hotter than ever, especially with those small tattoos and ear piercings. It adds a bit of an edgy vibe to his already dreamy appearance. I know how mesmerizing it must be to look into his sparkly brown eyes. I remember on Australia Day in 2020 when my friends and I were patiently waiting to get our pictures with him, and when it was my friend's turn, she handed me her phone to take the picture. As I looked up at Aydan, standing so close, our eyes locked for what felt like a minute or two. Time seemed to freeze, and all I could manage to say was a slightly awkward "Um hi" with a big grin on my face. It was definitely a moment I won't forget.

From what I see, kid is solid. He has the voice, he's learning his swag and he is coachable in the fact he takes all the constructive criticisms and implements them to an advantage. But that absolute natural charisma is apparent. He's A1.
His talent is exceptional, and he handles criticism well to improve for the future. His charisma is genuine and evident, and meeting him in person confirmed it. His performances have only improved since his time on The Voice, making him even more captivating to watch. Additionally, his good looks are undeniable - he is attractive and charming in person. It may be clear that I have a strong liking for him, but I can't help it.

As someone who has met him many times in real life, I can confirm that he is such a gentleman; unlike some guys I come across who are customers at my workplace, he has a lot of respect for women, which I love. Not only that, but he's also a great guy to hang out with and talk to about anything, really, and so yeah, with Aydan, what you see is what you get and way more than that, if that makes any sense

Aydan was incredible, he delivered everything that was asked of him and so much more. Joe was the one who seemed not to know what he was doing. Seems to me he wanted a completely different thing every week, which did nothing to solidify who Aydan was as an artist. In the end, it was lacking personality, the performance with Joe was so weak. He would’ve been better with Delta, or Kelly.
I totally get where you're coming from with your thoughts on Aydan's performance. However, I respectfully have a different opinion about Joe Jonas as his mentor. I honestly think Joe brought something really special and valuable to Aydan's artistic journey. You know, every mentor has their own way of doing things, and we shouldn't just brush off Joe's contribution. I think it's crucial to remember that creativity and artistry can be subjective. What one person might see as a lack of personality, someone else might view as a fresh and unique take. So, why not celebrate the diverse perspectives and contributions that each mentor brings to the table?

This will sound kind of like fanfiction but I'm just gonna recall what I remember. ok, it all happened in early December, the month of Christmas. it was the end of his gig at Grazeland, and it was nighttime, I gave 2 Christmas cards, 1 for AYDAN and 1 for his family cause I felt like it. After that, Aydan was very appreciative of the card and gave me a hug and then he sat on the end of one bench which was right in front of me. we just talked about normal relevant stuff. I remember telling him how his rendition of 'Purple Rain' by Prince was super emotional for me and Aydan replied "Yeah, people were leaving during the sad songs", he also said how he picked up the music, made it upbeat at the end and I just responded with "yeah". Since I had dance concert rehearsals earlier that day before rushing over for his gig, I mentioned it to him and told him how I thought it went ok and trust me it was all positive vibes, even during the small silences and even when my mind wandered else, there were no negative vibes at all. I also remember the entire time we were talking he was looking right into my eyes the whole time and once I looked at his eyes I just thought "Wow he's so dreamy up close" and that's all I remember and I just went home thinking "oh my god i just hung out with him like real friends do!!"
