Thank you for the video! Was fixing an old laptop and wondered why the back panel would not come off. This helped me tremendously.
Am I the only one where Windows 10 did not work on the Travelmate 6292? I had to rip literally the PC-Card BGA chipset (ene CB-1410BF) from the Mainboard in order to get Windows 10 to work. This guide was helpful with disassembly/reassembly.

@@ordealkarisa1517 As I've written I've forcefully ripped the PC-Card chipset from the PCB 🙂
I think I tried to desolder it with a heat gun but didn't immediately come off so I used a screwdriver or something and scraped it of. I was not very careful because the Laptop was not worth much even 5 years ago and I just wanted to know if that would work 🙂

Can't send you a link here but if you google "Windows 10 Creators Update installation is broken completely on old laptop Lenovo 3000 N100" you will find a Microsoft forum discussion and the very last entry (page 6) is a post with my two PCB pictures.

Google "Windows 10 Creators Update installation is broken completely on old laptop Lenovo 3000 N100" and look at the very last post on page 6 of the thread in the Microsoft forums. Those are my PCB pictures. It was a horrible mess but it worked fine.
@MustermannAnybody thanks bro. I figured you meant taking it off the board. I did it with a lot of doubt and fear that I could ruin a client's device, but it worked like magic. I don't have my hot air gun at the moment, so I heated it with a candle and neatly removed it.

la única duda que me queda tras ver el vídeo es donde se conectan los cables gris y negro que van a la pantalla, supongo que será la alimentación, por lo cual si los conectas al revés al montarlo harás un corto. sabes si viene alguna marca que lo indique para luego volver a conectar?
