Life long resident of Michigan. To say I have shoveled some snow is a given. Any shovel can shovel snow. That said, your number 2 shovel isn't a snow shovel. It's a grain shovel. I have one of those and I do use it to shovel snow some times. It's best to use when you get a large amount of drifted snow. I prefer a "cheap" snow shovel made of all plastic. They tend to wear out quicker but I don't care that much because they don't cost much to replace. In fact I generally wait until spring and buy 4 of them when they go on sale. I have a wide body, wide handle shovel I use to push the snow. Pushing is better than lifting all the time. So I push the snow out of the way and then use the light plastic shovel for final clean up. Now if we like 10 inches over night, then I use the 10 horse power snow shovel with 4 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds that will throw the snow 30 feet. Then I use the cheap plastic shovel for clean up.
The best shovel for snow is bought at Menards it's about 8.00. I have shoveled grain silage rocks dirt and snow. Any metal blades do not work well on concrete. Shoveling snow is totally different then all the options they showed. But you best bet is the 8.00 shovel from menards.

I used a snow scoop in upper Michigan for 18 years, when I came down state I thought people were crazy shoveling drive ways with a shovel.
Wish i had a need for a snow shovel. Don't get much snow in Georgia. USA. Lucky to get an inch every couple of years.
