I don't know for sure (and I don't really care since one of my life guidelines is that it doesn't matter if you have all of the advantages, but insyead what you do with them), but I think the plant thing has to do that Abigail, Georgia, Emily and Lizzy all attended a prestigious arts school at UK, thus giving them the chance *to form* their own connections once said connections realized *just how talented they are* (Emily, for example, is a hell of a composer. Have you given a listen to her solo jazz project or her side rock band? Both projects are awesome). Anyway, even if they were a plant, well, it's a hell of a plant and I hope we can have more band like this in the future.

They are no industry plants. It kind of rubbish really. They are a great band. Great album from them. Hope the second album will be good.
Great video 👍. For a positive takeaway, if people are sceptical about a band because they want to connect with artists that are honest and genuine, it gives me hope for the incoming AI music storm.
Listen to their music. An industry plant would play much more up-to-the-minute, hooky, danceable, PRODUCED stuff, not LDP's oddball reinvention of Seventies glam.
Look at the credits. They wrote their own songs; no heavy hitters like Max Martin or Jack Antonoff were involved.
I think they are exceptionally talented artists and I enjoy their music even being very pro the Patriarchy.
