0:40 focals ALL day! so dynamic, so much seperation, but with the reverb being even bigger on top of it. I'm llistening to this on a7.2.4 system and the sound is straight up 3D with the focals the vocals were so different between the 2 that the best would be in between, the focals had so much body and volume, where the magnet's narrow and airy but clean, i just didn't like the switch from either of the speaker to the other, a middle ground would be better atleast with this song.
I vote for Magnat because although the Quadral All Craft 4000 gives more volume, it is a very old model and there are many problems on the internet with dead speakers - driver rubber surround. The Magnat will give a better overall performance.
The Magnat can only dream of the airiness, detail retrieval and transparency of the Focal. And the soundstage of the Focal is huge, the Magnat sounded boxed in and trapped. Vocals on the Focal sounded expressive, on the Magnat vocals sounded constipated. Bass on the Magnat goes deeper, but not as quick and precise. Focal is not known for its deep bass, especially in the lower end models.
I haven't listen the heco aurora 1000, but the price range is the same as focal Chorus 726. Loudspeakers need to be listened to, ideally in a blind test versus other loudspeakers. This is where audio stores come in handy, not online shops.
I have both Magnat Quantum 506 and Focal Cobalt 806. comparing those two speakers is impossible.Magnat is not competitive at all. Focal has an incomparably better sound.
Chorus is only the very entry Level of Focal / JMLab. Focal starts to be good to very good from midlevel series and up. Focal entry level series are fatiguing to listen to. For sure Magnat wins here!

Do not cancel, magnat made very good speakers, maybe you dont have good playback device, because in this test magnat soumd better, focal is more dark.
