It wasn’t until I realised that the dial mechanism - which can prohibit the movement of the slider - is actually
considered a feature as a heavy duty fixed/blade-lock configuration
,that I realised the merits of the knife. I have however squirted some dry chain lubricant (the one used for bicycles) and it’s sweeter than ever.

The wheel is designed to lock the blade when open and closed, the closed position is a safety feature to keep the blade in place when not in use!

Had mine for 8 years, use it daily as a carpenter. Best knife i ever had. When u get used to this knife, all other utility knives, just feel like made in china crap.
It can take a beating too. The back end of the handle, works great as a hammer lol. And the blades never break, making this so much safer to use.

i was thinking that the exo change was the ultimate utility knife, but this one may be it, it's expensive but you get a much stronger and quality built, locking blade, and all metal construction, this one will last years and years of use, for $30 if you really want somenthing that it'll not break on hard jobs, a $10 one maybe it'll last some months, really cool video as always

Completely agree Virtual Virtual! This one will be really really tough to beat. Obviously you can't carry this one in your pocket, but otherwise it may be the best knife around. It is large, which some may not like. Ultimately, if you combine this with your favorite folding utility knife, you are probably covered.

Do you think this would be too big for a belt sheath?
