I've seen Apache 1604v to have a comparatively larger turning radius if I compare it with Bajaj NS160 or N160 or Yamaha FZS v4. I feel handle doesn't turn much and U-Turns on busy roads are a problem in this bike. Rest all bike has really good initial pickup and exhaust sound and Dual channel ABS is a Plus. The handle bar has an unusually too light feeling which makes it easy to turn and flick in traffic. I usually ride at 70-75kmph on free highways and I dont see any confidence issue, although it feels like I should tightly hold the handle bar since it is so light.
I've driven Yamaha FZ-S v4 which feels more planted at 70-75kmph, but lacks the pickup that the apache offers.
I can say Honda Hornet 2.0 can be a comparable bike with Tvs Apache which also feels more planted. It has a more refined engine or atleast sounds much sober. Weighs almost the same and people say Honda is more reliable. So, all depends on choice.But, I love the fact that the Bike can produce so much sound without any of the vibrations reaching the body.
Wow thanks for explaining in detail. Loved it! Everything about rtr160 4v is top notch except the weight. At 90-100 kmph it feels extremely light & disbalanced
