Really enjoying all the board track bikes you’ve been featuring. I recently built a motorized bike, board track bikes were the inspiration, it’s my CZcams icon. It’s great to see the real thing running.

Don't know if you answer any comments but i have a few questions about the bikes..At frame 1:00 was the kill lever on the first bike, does what? I'm assuming holds exhaust valves open?
Question 2 frame 2:14 I have never seen a front suspension like that where the rear parts of the rocker go up inside the back forks? springs inside?
My curiosity is because I am building a costume Flathead bike and designing a springer front end and intrigued by doing something a bit different inspired by the older bikes and seeing that got my brain a humming again.
Oh and i love your series and this awesome museum..i plan to visit on my bike hopefully when the panicdemic insanity ebbs a bit and you can reopen to foot traffic.
I have to see this place before i leave this mortal coil! Cheers and salutes to all of you!

That's a unique way of starting a bike. Isn't that a kickstarter down by the exhaust? Would love to see a blog on how harley designates each model such as the flha and so on. There is a company out there that remakes tires for classic cars for people who want the true look and feel there model would've had back in its heyday. I'm guessing if classic bikes would be as popular you might be able to get them made too.

I'm almost positive he does, Dale is one of if not the foremost "experts" on classic American made motorcycles. I found out about Dale, Matt and Wheels Through Time on an episode of Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini. They were at a huge auction and the really funny part was Wayne (a car guy first) bought a motorcycle and Dale (a motorcycle guy first bought a car).
