- My GF destroyed our old handheld blender so I had to get a replacement I thought about something form internet but I found this blender with a great pricetag of 25 euros so the price was good in this product range. I tested the device very hard to find all of the advantages and disadvantages of this blender.

Very nice video. I bought the blender from Lidl today and it has a good result .
Does it blend leafy greens like kale or spinach into a soft smoothie or are there small pieces left when you blend it? Great video btw :)

I have a silvercrest smoothy maker and a Silvercrest blender. I have tryed more ekspensive blenders in my life but honestly the cheaper Silverxrest is my absolut favorits.😉

Thx for the video. Is this blender powerful enough to blend raw oats with some water so they become drinkable?
Yes, No problem. It blends ice or frozen fruit, the trick is to keep it wet, if you know what I mean. You have to add some juice or water so all the contents can spin. Some of the viewers wrote "It can't blend banana..." add milk or orange juice this is the simple answer. If you add water or milk there should be no problem.

how about hard vegetables like raw carrot? Did you try to blend it?
No problem with that, but raw carrot might be too dry and it wouldn't spin properly so you would have to add some juicy fruit but it would have no problem with cutting raw carrots. My gf uses it for frozen fruit at well, I just asked her and she confirmed.

As far as I remember there is safety lock. Please lock the cover on top and then try to connect it to the base.

Please read the manual section about safety lock and sit the jug properly in the socket and twist the jug cover in the proper position you should hear a click.
I can not get this started help...the lid is locked but I cant seem to get the glass jug to lock...

It has to sit properly in the jug socket. Try placing it into the socket again and then twist the cover in the right position.
Can this be used to crush Apples ? Planning to subsquehtly press it in a fruit press

Yes the manual states that there is no problem with Ice. We tested frozen fruit and there is no problem with them. So It is a yes.

I have no Idea mate, the problem is that most manufacturers and sellers just want you to buy new item when your old one is broken and I hate this approach. But what you can do is take verniers amzn.to/3eDjzZL (affiliated) and find one on amazon amzn.to/2ZYT5xF (affiliated) I hope that you will find one that you are looking for.
Is it strong enough to blend raw peanuts for peanut butter ?
It can blend frozen fruit no problem, but I never did peanut butter, I suppose that peanut butter would get very sticky at some stage so I cannot say that this instrument would do the job in this very case.

As far as I remember there are safety locks in the jar make sure the cover is properly locked and that the jar sits properly in the base.
You need to add some water or milk so you don't have to shake it.

Hi I have exactly this blender from Lidl off course. Just took it out of box today but it’s not working.
There is a safety pin in the top cover so the jug has to be closed with the lid otherwise it will not work, and the jug has to be properly installed in the motor housing, there is a safety in under the handle in the jug it goes to the base and activates motor only when the top cover is properly closed

my jug split in the ishwasher after 5 uses. AVOID
How did you do that??? My gf had to drop it from a table to break the jug, but it cracked and we are still using it without any problem.
Its the worst blender I ever had .In one week the bottom broke and all velvet soup went under it . I am glad at least I disconnected it from the electricity. When you turn it on it smells burnt stuff from the first moment and constantly . I didnt expect that from this company or lidl. Its a product of very bad quality.
Thank u for your valuable opinion. In our case the glass jug fell on the floor and broke. We have a cheap plastic one now. I think I even made a review of it on my channel. All best mate.
