To be fair, I've seen Paul Hollwood and I still think in many ways he's a fictional character.
I just now realized that Hamm had no clue that Paul Hollywood is a real person, but still lets the bit play out
This was such an unexpected combination when it happened but I can't be the only one who hopes they're besties now.
Ayoade & Hamm- the duo we didn't know we needed. Seriously, someone needs to make a whole show with this premise

Would love to spend a day with these guys. They had me smiling and chuckling the whole time. Sometimes celebrities go too over the top to try to be hilarious and it just feels strained and fake. These two were just the right mix of charm, genuineness, and low key humor. Well done!

That was a good bro moment, they should have done it for laughs. I loved that Jon was genuinely enjoying the ride, and that shot the pilot cracking up was perf.

I'm an American and I got the Morecombe and Wise reference.
@@Mia7189 some people do know them based on last name but like me don't know the first names. The only reason I even know the last names is due to Oceans 13. Again most people of United States think Bert and Ernie. It just depends on what you have been exposed to. My British exposure growing up was Monty Python, Benny Hill and Absolutely Fabulous. You may have had a broader exposure.

Richard is right. Helicopters ARE frightening. When malfunctioning they drop to the ground like a stone. They have no wings they can glide on like a plane.

No, he didn't know whether they wanted him to leave in the scene being shot. We saw him from the back, which means a camera man/woman was behind him.
Similarly, the scenes with vendors will take time to set up and be filmed; it's not as quick an exchange (at least not with the whole filming team) as it appears to be.
