    00:01 Ueno Nakacho
Ueno Nakacho is a district in Tokyo that offers a diverse nightlife experience. Here’s a brief overview:
Izakaya Alley: This is a narrow lane filled with traditional Japanese pubs known as izakayas. It’s a great place to experience authentic Japanese drinking culture, with a variety of small dishes to accompany your drinks.
Ameyoko Market: By night, this bustling market area transforms into a lively spot with street food stalls and outdoor bars. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy a casual and energetic atmosphere.
Jazz Bars: Ueno is home to several jazz bars where you can enjoy live music performances in an intimate setting. These venues often feature both local and international artists.
Karaoke Rooms: If you’re in the mood to sing, Ueno has numerous karaoke establishments where you can rent a private room and enjoy singing with friends.
Art Bars: For a more unique experience, there are bars that combine art and alcohol, offering a space to view contemporary art while enjoying a cocktail.
Each of these places offers a different slice of Tokyo’s nightlife, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether you’re looking for a quiet evening or a night of fun and entertainment, Ueno Nakacho has something for everyone.

I remember when you first started to interview guests. You, repeatedly, asked the same four questions. It was obvious that you were learning; however, over a short period of time, you became an EXPERT interviewer.
I am now looking forward to you, soon, becoming an expert tour guide as well. Pointing out Akihabara and the shopping area helped me to more clearly understand your location (and better understand Tokyo). Including additional small details just MIGHT, also, be helpful. For example, pointing out that Akihabara is SOUTH of your location and the shopping area is EAST provides an even more clear understanding of your location. Pointing out that Uneo (one of 30 stations on the Yamanote line) is located in northeast Tokyo can also be very helpful. Pointing out certain types of restaurants, types of food offered, and price ranges could also . You passed a building with a sign that read: Swimming Pool. Is that a real pool on the second and third floor? How long and deep are the pools? Is nude bathing required?????? How expensive is it? It could be interesting to learn. What types of museums are located in Ueno park? Does the zoo still have its Pandas? Is there a large Love Hotel district at the train stop just north of Uneo?
You see, there are just SO MANY types of interesting details that you can add to your terrific new Tour Guide strategy.
I like this new approach. I look forward to you, soon, teaching me even more about Tokyo.

For a first time visitor, or someone who do not speak japanese and want to explore areas like this, would you recommend a guide?

  • @akiensio425
    @akiensio425 Před 23 dny +1

Hmm, yes it works ... narration is not a bad idea.
Maybe preferably about some special place, object or thing you notice (e.g. their significance to the Japanese culture).

JUMP TO 5:00 TO AVOID THE RAMBLING UNSCRIPTED/UNWRITTEN NARRATION
nevermind for some reason he starts talking whenever there are no people around; he must be lonely tonight. not a good asmr video but still a good walking video.

Sorry dude. Turned it off. I can’t stand the talking tours. It’s not just you. Any streamer who talks thru the vid gets binned. Totally kills the atmos.

I agree with you!! I didn't turn it off, but I turned off the sound. Because without the narration I feel like I'm walking there, I really like listening to the sound of the city because I was raised in the big city since I was a child!!
