Lake GUNTERSVILLE Summer Crappie Fishing is hot right now May 2024

My son @ginganinjajon and I spent Memorial Day Weekend 2024 fine tuning our forward looking sonar skills for crappie on Lake Guntersville using Active Target. The bite was better than expected. I believe the current was a major factor but we have been using some new baits and techniques that almost seem to make them bite sometimes. It was a great time! God has blessed us both.

Came to Guntersville 2 was ago. Had maybe 3 crappies barely big enough to keep. Had high hopes. I guess I just don’t know enough to get it done. Big letdown. And that was 3 days fishing.

Crappie have been tough lately. We need some current. That is what really gets them biting when all other conditions are tough.

Looks like you have a real good video, but showing livescope screen would definitely take it a notch or two higher!
