Morning Buddy. Thanks for this one as requested it too 😀 I’m sure it’ll give me the confidence to have a go 😂 Cheers Stevie.
You’re welcome. Hopefully it’ll be useful to others worried about keeping their airbrush clean. It really doesn’t take that long to do
Thank you. Some users recommend you withdraw the needle from the front rather than the back, in order to ensure that any paint adhering to it is not drawn back into the body.
Yes that’s true. It also protects the tip of the needle. You’d need to remove the nozzle to extract it in this way obviously
And don't do what I did and wash the airbrush in a sink. I lost one part down the U bend. Not pleasant to take that apart to retrieve it (which I did). Thanks for the video, I didn't know that brass bit detached.
You must of read my mind as I am getting a shot of a air brush and wondered how to clean it as I am planning to airbrush all my track,I got a pack called railway fast method paint set tell me what you think of it please
Hi. I’ve not heard of that before but I’ll check it out and get back to you
I’ll be painting and ballasting my track soon so I’ll put together a video if that’s useful for you
@@BuntersYard that would be great, cos I think I am going to struggle, also I don't have thinners is it worth getting some, the name of the company that makes it is ammo I got it on ebay
It looks like a good kit. It does need thinners to use through an airbrush. I’m going to order a kit to use in my layout so I’ll include it in the video.
@@BuntersYard that would be so helpful, if you could say how much thinners to mix with the paint that would be great, what thinners should I get, sorry to be a pain
Will do. I’ll include it in the video and link to the thinners in the description. My kit is due on a couple of days so I’ll get the video made as soon as I can
The old pipette technique was a game changer for me. Thanks for sharing.
Hope it makes the process of airbrushing a little easier
@@BuntersYard -Absolutely. Thank you.
