I have been watching makeup videos since they first came out, sitting on the floor in their rooms in front of their beds. I watch 3 or 4 people now just because I don’t trust what they say anymore and they come off like life isn’t real. We appreciate you Tati!! Hang in there girl! Well I live alone by myself and I had brain surgery
I just moved into a new house and dealing with living alone after 3 years. Single mom, healthcare job…stress. Watching your video just wrapped me up and made me comfortable and peaceful. I just need to get back in a routine that makes me happy and having you back on CZcams has helped so many of us. Keep your head up and know you’re making our lives better without knowing it. ❤️

Actually, you made that first foundation shade look FABULOUS. A testament to your skills! The paler complexion went well with the hoop earrings, winged liner, straight hair and bright pink lip for a perfect 1960s look. 🙂I love that shade range, because I'm even paler than F-5 and now I gotta try this foundation too! (Thanks to MR!) I think you picked F-5 because it actually would've suited your "winter in Seattle" complexion quite well! LOL...change always takes some time, that's all. Take the shade blunder as a metaphor for what you're experiencing in a larger sense. The transition continues!

When you first put on the foundation, I was expecting a mime performance. You're so right; this foundation color numbering is just crazy. Think the creators should see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Congrats for braving it out. and thanks for giving me a few giggles.

I’m so sorry to hear you’re having a rough day! I’m 35 and my husband and I still haven’t been able to have a kid so trust me when I say I completely understand what you’re feeling! We paid thousands of dollars and at the end they told us for another $20,000 we have a 30% of getting pregnant. It was a huge let down! So we’re looking into adoption now but the emotions def can catch you off guard! As hard as it is it’s nice to know I’m not alone! You and James will be in my prayers!🙏🏻❤️

@@0804reba It might be not having kids or might be so many other things like business/entrepreneurial related. Or it might be everything!! I also mourn the life I once imagined I would have. Unfortunately, life threw obstacle after obstacle at me, forcing me to take a different path which led me to a place I would have never imagined. If I let myself think about it, I feel lots of disappointment and sadness, and even some anger for a life full of potential that was unfulfilled. Please pardon my grammatical errors. English is not my first language. What I’m trying to say is that many people feel bad because their dreams and life expectations were not accomplished, and that feeling might or might not involve having children.

I hear you on the emotional rollercoaster. I'm only 43 and going through the end stage of menopause . All the women in my family are completely done by 45, but having anxiety disorder is not helping things, so I totally understand the crying. It felt like all the time, luckily my Dr put me on some antidepressants till I get done with this hot mess express. Love you for being so honest. As you said it makes you feel less alone. It's weird how all the .5 shades are lighter
I'm 52 and still not menopausal. Wish it would come. I'm done with it.

@@CassTheReaper adoption is an amazing option, but many people with fertility issues also feel, well, terrible that their bodies won't do what they are "supposed" to do. I've considered it for myself, but I also have an intense longing to truly have all this experiences of bearing my own child. Adoption comes with its own struggles too, and shouldn't just be thrown out as a quick and easy solution for those who struggle with infertility

Tati, I’ve always followed you and loved you not only because of your beauty advice but also your raw realness. It helps us all remember that this IS OKAY and important to share things other than the highlight reel. I relate so hard to all the different emotions. Even the little mistakes made while getting ready. I call it “period brain” where I just make the dumbest little mistakes and am left questioning how I even made it this far lol. I have discovered the key to happiness is understanding the expectations vs reality of life that we place on ourselves, grieving what you expected life to be, accepting what is your life in this moment, and planning for the future. Once I got to that place, handling hard things became a whole lot easier. That’s not to say I don’t have tears or a bad days. They just are a little shorter these days. Love to you Tati!! I think the bronzer “on top of the cheekbones” is two-fold:
1. Same as a high blush moment it can give more of a lifted look where under the cheek bones can bring the face down or make it look very sharp/structured
2. Bronzer for warmth makes sense “where the sun naturally hits your face” if many of us get color from the sun it will be on the tops of cheeks.
Your bronzer placement has always seemed more for a contour effect while adding warmth. The high bronzer is for lift and warmth. I challenge you to try it and see what you think! For myself, I think it gives a more youthful and fresh vibe

Sometimes we need to be in that moment, live it and trust we'll be ok when we've made it through it. Doing those things that make us happy, happier while feeling crummy as heck and just going forward..
Secondly... I am OBSESSED with that colour top!!! its one of my favourite colours but on you its GORGEOUS!!!!!

I really feel that "revisit trauma when I can't sleep". My therapist gave me a tool that I use where I think about my 5 senses. What can I see, touch, hear, smell and taste. Doing that for a little bit really helps most of the time. It's helped me on some of my really bad nights ❤️

I like bronzer applied higher. The theory behind it is - bronzer adds warmth which replicates a tan when you’re out in the sun. This happens on the high, not low points of your face (that would be contour). Obviously if you have a “bronzer” that leans cool and can be used to create shadows like a contour that’s different but bronzing traditionally adds warmth. It’s been a game changer for me. I’ve got a longer and slimmer face and bronzing in the W shape has really helped my face shape but also replicate a realistic sun kissed tan

I haven't watched makeup videos for ages. I own too much makeup and currently have no money to buy anything new. I don't wear it often after the pandemic. Just looking at the thumbnail I've suddenly remembered how much fun watching Tati used to be a few years back. So I turned it on thinking that I would just see sone makeup and hear some quick tips. But when this coyote story started, I felt so connected. I understand this feeling of rolling through all the bad memories while your loved one is sleeping soundly next to you. I usually cope by writing fan fiction no-one will ever see. I came here to pass time and got much more than I was hoping for. Thank you for keeping it real, Tati! I swear Ulta did something to their lights that makes the foundations on the back of your hand look like the right shade, but it’s actually 2 shades lighter. Same exact thing happened to me twice now! They really need to do something about that.
This might sound odd, but it’s nice to hear her being real about things she’s struggling with. Obviously, I don’t want her to struggle or anyone for that matter, but it’s refreshing in a way that she’s not trying to be this perfect person and edit out her issues. I appreciate the authenticity.

As a Sagittarius mom, wife, and teacher truth reigns supreme👍🏽 I kinda love that the IRL foundation didn’t hit at first because it’s the same problem I have always trying to get the perfect tan or olive tone in the “middle” of shade ranges. I’m sooooooo happy you showed this video and all the oopsies in it! It’s total realness and the beauty community on CZcams is lacking that. Plus, I needed a laugh as today has been a bad day. My dog is at the ER, getting tests run and has a catheter because she can’t pee and there’s a chance she has cancer. She’s only 6 and tomorrow is her 6th Gotcha Day so we’re very sad and scared here. This video put a smile on my face that I needed.❤️

Damn! I just repurchased the regular revolution foundation the first one that everyone loves. I was GOING to get this one instead but they had no testers and the shades were too strange to figure out!! So I went with F8 in the normal foundation and F7 in concealer and I’m so happy with them. It’s such a smooth full coverage look. But NOW I have to get this one too. Also a perfect SWEATPROOF foundation guys is the Catrice liquid HD foundation. It’s soooooooo long west, so thin but so full coverage! Also a MUST HAVE 👍🏼💯 just to let y’all know lol!

Tati! I so appreciate your transparency and sharing about how your life just isn't what you'd thought it would be. I also recently moved and started a new chapter and just like you, it's been great and sad and refreshing and so hard all at the same time. My life is also nothing like I pictured and I have days of struggling with that hard. But it's so great to hear how your faith helps you in those times, because that is what gets me through it too.
