Fin de una mala racha y primer descenso confirmado. Partido competitivo de inicio a fin, donde los visitantes gozaron de mejor acierto y defensa que los locales quienes una vez más no reflejaron su buen partido en el marcador.
El Almería, como ha sido habitual, generó más ocasiones, insistiendo a más no poder, llegada tras llegada, más sabiendo la situación en que se encontraba. Hacer menos disparos no le impidió al Getafe ser más efectivo (tres goles en cinco tiros al arco), la defensa volvió a estar sensacional y Greenwood volvió a vestirse de héroe, el equipo retomó su mejor versión para lograr su décima victoria del curso, superando su marca de puntos de la temporada pasada (hizo 42 en la 2022/23, el cambio es bastante flipante), acabando con su nefasta racha sin ganar de visitante (su primera y única victoria de visitante en toda la temporada había sido el 16 de diciembre del 2023 tras vencer 0-3 al Sevilla), y está a cinco puntos de la plaza de Conference League! Mientras que el Almería firmó su derrota 21 de la temporada, y hoy, ha sentenciado su destino de la manera más gris.

La cantidad de puntos perdidos por la falta de definición es flipante, si mencionar el frágil nivel defensivo mostrado en varios partidos, sobretodo de visitante. Es así como la escuadra indálica volverá a jugar en Segunda División después de sólo dos temporadas en la élite del fútbol español. Mucha fuerza, espero que podáis encontrar la forma de superar este durísimo golpe, y de poder armar un proyecto sólido para volver a Primera lo más pronto posible. Un abrazo desde México!! 🙏🏼🇲🇽🤍❤️
