How do you get your kids to read especially the boys? My grandson is about to be seven. I would love for him to read more. One thing I can say about my grandson is when he hear a word that he never heard of he will asked me what that mean or how to spell it.
You might have this option in your state…in Ohio we have a program called ACE the gives students even homeschoolers $1000 per child for camps , enrichment programs, music and art lessons, etc. I signed a few weeks ago and was able to get a science center family pass, boxing lessons, The Arc admission, to name a few. I’m in the process of submitting to see if they include homeschool curriculum as well! Hope this helps!

We pretty much took/are taking June off (I just had a baby girl on the tenth; so it seemed like a good time for a break😊.) We will begin again after Independence Day with a light schedule and resume full school mode after Labor Day. Light for us looks like reading, journaling, music, and a math worksheet/puzzle.
I am curious about your 🖋️. Is that pen available on Amazon?

Love your plans. We go year round with just living and learning but it does feel like I wrap up a year in June and start afresh in July so this was timely content. We applied for a hardship scholarship through Rainbow Resource Center and they granted us a generous amount for our family size. So helpful for investing in some resources. My kiddos are finally getting a chance to do some of the extra curricular class-type activities they have been longing to do - praise God! And we also are working through a little reading log from our local bookshop to add a little spice to our constant reading life. 🥰
Thank you for sharing, your video are always so peaceful and inspiring. We're slowly ending our school year, we started our year "late" because we took September off to welcome a new baby in our house, we plan to have most of our summer fun in august.
I was wondering, with all the books everyone reads how do you make sure the content inside is always age appropriate? I suppose you don't have time to pre-read all of them.

That was Scratch…it’s a coding website. He loves it!
