    I own this too. Highly engineered and design piece. The best thing about it it’s bullet proof and very few know it’s so expensive. It’s the most classic G Shock design. The ultimate one to own. It’s a master stroke by G Shock. It fits in with the quiet luxury trend. Very stealth. It’s the type of luxury that if you know it, you know it. Opposite to the loud in-your-face luxury brands screaming “I AM RICH!!”

    Very nice indeed. $4K, nope! I've owned several MRG's and they are exceptional but would NEVER pay retail or "New" prices for them. They don't hold value and I would not consider them to be worth what Casio wants for them. Funny how it's really only the case design and materials that would make this square so much more valuable than a high-end model for less than half. I love Casio but this is just out of bounds.

    • @Koderfacts
      @Koderfacts Před 2 lety +2

      It’s an MR-G. They’re always limited. Most seem to hold their value and some models even go up depending on qty produced. I suspect these first gens will be the rarest and most desirable.

    Great video pal and early access too! However I've just got hold of one of the GMW B5000TVA-1JR "Mech-Shock" Titanium Virtual Armor watches only yesterday and tbh hand on heart I really don't see this particular MRG topping mine for style and design. Yes I know this MRG is in another league compared to my TVA. But pound for pound I know which one I would rather pick and it's definitely mine 100% going with style over substance! (Anyway in all fairness I wouldn't pull the trigger even if I had the money for this MRG which I don't by the way!) So I'm going to accept and settle for second best here for the crown of "The Best Squared G Shock" and even though the MRG probably makes mine look like a toy I'll just take it on the chin all day long. Keep up the good work and take care pal.

    I mean, mostly of the brands on the industry have _SmartWatch_ to complete their ecosystem, like _Apple_ or _Samsung_ or even Chinese brands and, from weeks ago even _Google_ with their *_Pixel_* sub brand have their new subject on scene.
    So? Why _Casio_ not have a better devices on market (smartwatches I mean) to compete with _Garmin_ or with _Suunto_ and conserving the 2 ATM of endurance try to make the harder and more complete _SmartWatch_ on the market?
    Even creating a sub brand to not use the _Edifice,_ the _Pro-Trek_ or the _G-Shock_ ones to be a very different product that we've ever seen before...
