Oh No!!! I think you have met your quota of injuries now. I am so sorry this happened. I think you made the right decision. We do not usually operate on toe fractures in the States, although I do not know all the details. The scenary is stunning!!

As a non medical professional, I recommend 5 shots of Ouzo per hour for pain. If your ears start ringing, cut it back to 3 per hour. Hope this helps.
