When he brought up Winona Ryder, my 1st thought was, I wondered if he was going to somehow hint at her shoplifting arrest, immediately followed with, no, Misha isn't the kind of person to do that. Which I was apparently right because there was no hints, there was no innuendos, he just went straight in with "she likes to steal things, I don't know if you know that.". There's probably some younger people that really didn't know about it. Google it, it's so ridiculous. In the 90's she was in every other movie that was released. Had relationships with Johnny Depp, Christian Slater, Matt Damon, & several other big stars. Then she got arrested for shoplifting at Saks Fifth Avenue & pretty much fell off the face of the earth til Stranger Things found her.
Yeah I feel like he shouldn't have said that..like not to excuse stealing but she had a hard life at the time and was having multiple panic attacks and possibly had kleptomania and she ended up checking herself in a mental hospital and seems to be doing good now and is a sweet person. Like I love Misha but that was just trashy like idk if it was just for the laughs but that's not something you say without knowing her story🤷
heh kinda funny: I've been hooked on SPN con vids for a while now and have just recently realised that was Misha in that scene in Girl Interrupted and it's NOW that I just happen to encounter a vid where he talks about exactly that ....
lol i like how he acts all casual about meeting Angelina Jolie by accident. But Angelina Jolie is a very beautiful woman even as her character Lisa in Girl Interrupted. If you ask me, Misha might not have known it was Angelina Jolie but he probably asked Jolie on the account that she was pretty and maybe tried flirting with her while he "couldn't" figure out how to put on the vest.
I wish more people knew that it's a major faux pas to ask an actor what it's like to work with another actor. It kind of implies "Well, I don't really care about you, but you've WORKED with people I care about so tell me about them!" I'm sure that wasn't her intention, and Misha doesn't seem particularly bothered with it. He understood what she wanted to hear and delivered. It just kind of makes me cringe. She should have asked about his experience on the film instead. That would've been better.
