Checking for password and ID is not passive aggressive. It is a literal precaution he has to take now in order to ensure the people he’s talking about aren’t lying

It’s so sad too because when you’re young you don’t realize the severity of these predators. When I was in 7th grade this guy added me on Snapchat and was sending me shirtless photos. He was in college and said he was talking to me because I was “so mature for my age.” Now that I’m an adult, and a mother, I realize how truly fucked up it was!

Not a good spot to find age inappropriate males though, which is what he's into. This isn't the first allegation, and won't be the last.
He needs therapy. Someone to help him come to terms with his sexual preference, accept it, and figure out why its there to begin with. Likely the result of some childhood trauma.

I really do love Hila and the dynamic between him and Trish, but I'm honestly really suspicious about Ethan. He's done some not-so-great things in the past that have been shrugged off, and there's definitely a reason other youtubers stopped talking to him.

In every apology James Charles does, it's clear he has 0 idea that what he's doing is wrong. He always shifts blame to the 16 year old kid that he is pursuing instead of taking any accountability at all. This doesn't apply to everyone, but my theory is that a lot of these young adults are still undeveloped emotionally. This isn't specific to the controversy with James, but I mean in-general. A lot of them are super immature and reckless, but society views them as legal adults and thrusts all this responsibility on them that they're obviously not prepared for or care about.
I think the offense rate would drastically change if we prepared our teens better for adulthood rather than just saying "You're an adult now, be responsible" because that doesn't change the offense rate. Instead of teaching kids core classes, we should teach teach them social learning skills so they don't engage in predatory behavior or any other type of criminal behavior.

If someone lied to me about their age and I found out that they were 15 instead I would be so creeped out and so much more careful. This can happen to you like once or maybe even twice, but not 5 times in less than 3 months. That is just abnormal and disgusting.
Im not one to presume guilt, but I genuinely don’t understand how you end up in these situations if your intentions are pure. Like it’s really easy to avoid, don’t flirt with fans and ask folks for ID. Simple. “He lied about his age” shouldn’t even be a possibility. If they look young, don’t talk to them. If you still choose to, again, ask for ID and take a screenshot of it, or yk just don’t flirt with them.

Some phones have 2 ways to take screenshots, so if you're on Snapchat, it doesn't tell the other person that you took a screenshot. I had the LG G4, G5, and G6 and they never notified the other person that I took any screenshots. Just a little note for people to realize, Snapchat isn't always foolproof when it comes to that
